    Valentine's Day 2009 - Agro Beach Part 1

(HaPpy VAlentine's Day to Dar and me!*14/02/2009*)

This year Valentine's Day was the most romantic and enjoyable Valentine's Day I had! This was in fact the 3rd Valentine's Day of ours since Dar and me got together 3 years ago. With the Valentine's Day falling on a Saturday and my 24th Birthday falling on a Sunday, this was just too good to be true!!

Dar had his secret planning in process without me knowing much! Been to Agro Beach resort once last year I think and I really love the place alot. Love the spa, love the seafood, love the beautiful and comfy room and not to mention, the uber good and friendly service they have. It's relatively cheap as compared the Nirwana etc but it's really a nice place for a short getaway. And Dar had the 2nd trip to there all planning without much of my notice until one fine night he finally spill it all out!!Awww...so sweet!

That very morning while lazing in my whole comfy bed under my beloved comforter at Dar's house, Dar lean over to my bed and said "It's Bintan time!" in order to tempt me to get up and wash up! Hahax...I'm just a lazy bum! Then we set off rather early, went to Bedok to have the very very nice Lor Mee for our breakfast and then off we went to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal!

(Some booze for our short trip!...but I must say I sooooo regret getting the Singapore Sling...should have gotten my red wine!Arghhh)

    (Waiting to board the boatie!!)

The whole journey took relatively long this time round...2 hrs! Gosh...and imagine the sadness I felt when it started raining super heavily as we slowly approach Bintan!!! But fortunately by the time we reached Bintan, Mr. Sunshine was smiling to us again! Hee hee...

    (Left: Out in the sea...)
(Right: If you can see on the surface of the sea...rain drops fallin' on them..and it's real big heavy rain drops!Ahhhh!!)

(No fear for it's clear blue sky greeting us when we reached Bintan!)

(So happy the sun is out!!!)

We took a bus arranged by the resort for around 1 hour ride I guess...and when we finally reach the Oh-so-familiar place...I just simply love that feeling!!Checked in, had a bath and off we went to the Sun-Moon Restaurant for all the long awaited food!!

    (Our room!!)

    (View from our room...)

(Enjoying the breeze as we walked to the Sun-Moon Restaurant!))

(Firstly, the rice Dar like thru out all our meals...then the dishes namely Tom Yam soup, Dried Chilli Chicken, Baby Kailan (one of my fav!!), deep fried prawn balls...)

Then after our lunch, we had some mini photo taking session around before we went back to our room to have a rest.

    (I love this view...)

    (Random takes...)

    (Okies...proper take!=p)

(Huhoo~i want to touch the water!)

Then awhile later, Dar walked me to the spa resort to have my full body spa which I've already made appointment!!! Dar didn't want to go cos' he dusson like the massaging which he finds so painful...So off I went for full 3 hours before Dar walked over to the spa resort to find me after my spa session.

(And first to go in the package is the jacuzzi with herbs!!!)

(This was the couple room whereby we had our couple spa when we went the first time...the view out of the glass window is the entire beach!!I'm in here this time round just for the jacuzzi!)

(This is the room where I did the rest of the spa...body scrub, body massage, body mask and body bath!Love it!)

(This is the lovely arranged flowers you'll see when u face down for ur massage...and plus the smoothing music...relaxing~)

(Check out the radiant skin right after the spa...the coffee spa really glams the skin!)

We walked over to Sun Moon Restaurant for our Valentine's Day dinner shortly after! We've been looking forward to this meal...haha!!Cos we lurrrvvveee the seafood here!!The crabs are nicely sized...not too big...so you get to order 2 of different flavours! And of course, there are other lovely dishes as well...totally enjoy the meal!

(The light keeping us company thru' the meal...)

    (Waiting for the food!!hahax...)

(Firstly, as per the previous meal...the rice Dar like...then down to Chilli Kang Kong, Hotplate TouFu, Butter Oat crab (VVVVVV delicious!!) and Black pepper crab (I love it too!))

After the sumptous meal, we took a walk down the beach for a moment. We had s group of people singing KTV by the beach...and thanks to the love songs they sang, it filled the air with a touch of love! Then free fireworks to color our evening as a couple put fireworks into the high sky throughout the night...Truely blessed in this night to have romantic songs and lovely fireworks to brighten our Valentine's night...and of course not forgetting the sea breeze that accompanied us during our walk...and I thank Dar for everything..."Thank you Dar Dar"!(^^)

P.S Next up will be on our Agro Beach Part 2 for Bella's 24th birthday celebration!!Stay tuned! =)

hAppy 3rd Year Anniversary to Dar and Me!!

(HaPpy 3rd yEar aNniverSary to Dar and me!)

5th of February 2009 was the 3rd year anniversary of Dar and me!Yep it's a little whee bit of a past from now but well I still just wanted to blog about it to keep it as a memory for myself! (^^)

We kinda postponed our celebration the 5th Feb was on a Thursday and I had to work overtime. So we postponed it to that very Saturday! Dar and me first went to the Cuppage to get my new phone! Yeps...that's my pressie - a Blackberry Bold phone!!Whee~~~and I'm still very much lovin' it at this very point in time! Right after getting the new phone, we skipped our initial plan to have dinner at the Curry Flavor located at City Hall area and went for our Waraku located just at Cuppage! It's a refreshing change anyways...but I'll definitely wanna go back to Curry Flavor someday! Heex..

    (Dar and me...)

It's actually my first try at Waraku...and that particularly branch was actually a Teppanyaki styled Waraku. Just the 2 of us...I had my side of the gift exchange for Dar right in there...and we ordered quite a lot of food given the fact that there was just the 2 of us! heh heh...

    (The ambience in Waraku)

    (Our gift exchange!)

(Rather unique lovely tasting lady fingers as appetizer!)

    (Very nice Garlic rice!!)

(The Eel rice...not bad too...but prefer the Garlic rice!)

    (Left: Sliced thick ham)
(Right: Super big pieces of Chicken! Hmm a bit tooooo big for my palate!)

    (Our overall spread!)

Then after dinner, we made our way down to Vivocity for our movie! I wanted to watch "The Wedding Game" so Dar accompanied me to watch the show. We were still early when we reached Vivocity so we spent our time shopping around before finally stepping into the cinema for the 103mins movie! I didn't wanna expect much from the movie and the only reason I was tempted to watch the show was because Dar's sister said the show was actually not bad! Andddd indeed...it was not bad! Entertaining indeed and Dar and me kinda enjoyed the show!

    (The Wedding Game Movie!)

(And my new beloved - Berrylicious!*kiss*)

And and that very moment when our 5th year anniversary celebration was over...Bella was secretly looking forward to the next coming weekend (which will be our Valentine's Day + my Birthday celebration!) So stay tuned for my next update on our Valentine's Day + Bella's Birthday celebration!!Lovin' it!*hugs*
