^Second Half of my Precious Weekend^

    (*Photo of the day!!*)

So here I am approaching the end of my Sunday...or rather the end of my precious weekend.

I woke up at around 2pm today coz I slept rather late last night coz I was up doing my nails and playing some games!hahax...It's not a luxury I get to enjoy everyday alrightz!keke...As there wasn't much activity for me going on until around evening time, so I spent the afternoon downstair in my living room. No handphone with me and no Internet for me as well. Just a quiet afternoon down in my living room, reading my Beauty Blackbook magazine and watching Television programmes. There was this Taiwanese health programme that was going on, talking about breast implants. They even invited 2 breast surgeons and 1 female who went through breast implant herself to clear all doubts of women who might be interested to go for breast implants. The process sure doesn't sound fun and one thing I feel that was mentioned in the programme really make sense. And that is more and more focus have been made on the need to have fuller breasts nowadays. So much so that like what the doctors mentioned, more girls are opting to go for breasts surgery not merely for own self confidence but rather to satisfy their male counterparts (or even thinking that their fuller breasts might help make their relationship last). I personally feel that if the objective of breast implants is to help a woman to build her confidence, it might be alright. But if it's for the purpose of satisfying their male counterparts then that would not be necessary. Afterall what's a relationship that relies on outer body appearance and with no love for each other's inner soul? Don't you agree? Hmm...well enough of my personal thoughts on this issue...

(My fav Magazine! - Beauty Blackbook)

    (Here's my new manicure done!nice? =p)

So anyway, I went out for a F4+1 dinner outing at Chomp Chomp in the evening. Haven went to Chomp Chomp for food for quite some time. Took a cab there coz I seriously couldn't stand the heat of the scorching sun out there. We ordered stingray, LaLa, Kang Kong, Oyster Omelette, Sotong, fried carrot cakes and the cooling sugercane juice! Wow, all the nice Singapore yummy food were presented right before our eyes.

(^Our food and the big sugarcane juice^)

(Me and Dar Dar at Serangoon Gardens)

(A steal shot of the boys..keke)

We headed to Coffeebean next for the F4 (without the +1) outing to Hong Kong. I'm the one left out, but anyway, I'll be going there nevertheless, though not with them. Hahax...I got hold of my pure chocolate and cheeeese cake! slurppy! The discussion went out for like an hour or so before we next headed to Ben (my Mei nan aka handsome boy) house for pool game. Yes you hear right, this handsome boy has a billard table right on the top floor of his house. All of it was ours!!haha...Farnie photo taking sessions and crazy acts really made my night great! I just lurrrveee hanging out with F4 coz they are just ridiculously farnie! *Laughs*

(Our drinks in the midst of their HK serious discussion..Lolx)

It's passed Sunday already, and I've stepped into another work week once again. Tomorrow is the start of a new job engagement for me. I haven had much time to check out on this new job and so I wouldn't know if it's gonna involve lots of OT for me. Let's pray hard that the job is not going to be a stressful one. Oh, and hope I can join F4 for dinner tomorrow night!!heex...Till my next update of the new week..take care guys!! =)

"Half of precious weekend" story ^^

I'm currently nearing the end of my precious Saturday...and I'm all ready to share it here! =)

I woke up at around 1030am by the call from Dar Dar coz we agreed to wake up earlier to go down to IKEA for breakfast!! After my preparation it was already around 1130am, and looking at the bright sunlight out of the window, I gathered that taking a cab is the best choice to not allow myself to sweat!hahax...so I met up with Dar Dar near his house, and took a bus to Queenstown. The ride was rather long and I managed to take a short nap.

We alighted and headed straight to IKEA! I lurrrveee going to IKEA...hahax! We went straighted to the eatery area and ordered the delicious food!! The chicken wings taste really yummy. We took a walk around IKEA as I looked around for a suitable cushion for my mini comfy area in my room but to no avail. So we left the place and walked over to Anchorpoint to buy Dar Dar's shirt coz the one I bought for him last week was destroy due to over-bleaching while his mum was on the phone! *Laughs*

    (Our Brunch!!)

(Us and our food!hehe...eat eat eat!)

After which we took a bus back to Dar Dar's home to have a rest for the rest of the day. As usual I slept really soundly on Dar Dar's shoulders through out the whole entire ride...^wonderful^! We were both kind of craving for some bubble milk tea and so the first thing that was done after alighting from the bus was to satisfy our craving! hee hee...oh and I manage to grab hold of a can of Peaches for my dessert of the day! We lurrvvve canned Peaches...don't you lurrveee them?keke...

(My Peachy..I've already conquered half of it!oops)

    (OMG...he's into his computer again!!!Rahhh)

We slept and Dar Dar prepared dinner for us when we finally woke up at around 830pm. It's been quite a long time since Dar Dar prepared "len mian" for me! And while he was watching his soccer matches, I was deeply engrossed in my dramas as I cried and cried with the drama! =p

(Our dinner prepared by my Baby Dar Dar!!)

We ended the day with him sending me down to take a cabbie home. And here I m with my mask on. Hmm...come to think of it...it's been a comfortable and relaxing Saturday well spent! As for the other half of my precious weekend...I shall leave it to tomorrow! *Grinz*

    a veRy niCe Friday!

I haven enjoyed a Friday...or simply any day like today for a long long while...

The day started off with a call from the Radio station 88.3 fm (due to a sms I sent in for some lucky draw to Switzerland to watch the 2008 UEFA match). I had initially sent in coz I was in my Daddy's car and he was tuned to this particularly station. Being bored in the car and having my handphone in my hands, I decided to just text over for fun, not expecting much though. It was when I reach the MRT station when the call came and to cut the story short, the game needed me to provide another friend's details to get him/her to join in the game with me. And so needless to say, I gave my Dar Dar's contact number and we both took part in the game. At the end we both answered the questions correctly and was entered into a lucky draw that was supposed to be held only in May. Well, keeping fingers crossed, till then, wish us luck in the lucky draw.

Anyway, today marks the end of my engagement at the client I'm currently auditing at. This was supposed to be a job engagement that I've always dreaded to go. But today, after a one month stay (that passed so quickly with all the OTs), I think I just might miss the place. Especially coz of the beautiful scenery from the meeting room that so deliberately made its special appearance on my last day at the place. The weather was just too perfect and nice to ignore. It just totally bring my mood to its highest level during work and I was just so captured by the view that I somehow wish this was not going to be my last day at this engagement.

(The view is sooooo awesome! What a blessing!)

We had a engagement team lunch today! Yippy time for some nice gathering and good food again. *Laughs* We went to a Japanese restaurant named "Hito" just below Republic Plaza. They also have a branch at China Square area but I guess it would be much more comfortable to eat under an air conditioned place. I ordered my Hito Set while the rest ordered Kaminabe set or Ramen set. The food came faster then I expected and we dig in without a second's delay. keke...

(The menu at "Hito" and the famous Kaminabe)

    (My Hito Set!!Yummy)

    (Tina and meee!!)

(And I present the Itochu Team!!)

And well it was back to the beautiful meeting room and seriously I must say my mood was so lifted today, I didn't feel much stress while working. Junne came up to find me after hearing about how nice the view out there was like from the meeting room I was in, especially since I guess she must also be feeling stressed up after a whole day at work. So then she came up from her client's place which was just beside the building I was in and I got her a cup of tea and some tidbits to perk her up.

    (Here's my Junney Babe!)

And time pass really fast when working under minimal stress don't you agree? And Dar Dar made my day better when he sms and asked me if I would love to have dinner at "New York New York" after work. What's better then having ur tummy filled up with delicious food after a day at work? Oh and especially if it's spending the night with my beloved one!!=p

(By Singapore River...Taken while waiting for Dar Dar!)

(Our photo of the special Friday!)

So we headed to "New York New York" at citylink right after work and ordered our foooddd!!!Rahhh...long queue but we got ourselves a 2-person seat without much waiting. The service there was great I must say, with the waiter (or probably a higher level kind) constantly checking if we're doing fine with the food or not. Dar Dar offered for the few rare times to have a walk around with me after food and we went along doing some window shopping. It was really crowded this evening and I guess it must be due to the IT show that is on since yesterday at Suntec. We had decided to head to Esplanade to take a bus home until we happen to chance upon the Mosaic Music Festival at the Esplanade space that always has performances going on. The program tonight was some Jazz singing band and we ended up sitting down to watch the performance. The singing was really nice and soothing. It was really a nice way to spend time with Dar Dar as we listen to the songs with each other by our sides. By the time the performance ended, it was also time to head home. We took a bus and though crowded, we managed to get ourselves seats not long after boarding the bus and as usual, I fell deep asleep while leaning on Dar Dar's shoulders again. Ended up both of us kind of overslept coz Dar Dar had missed his stop and ended up walking home with me to send me home (else he would have alighted at his stop and I would have gotten my daddy to come out to my stop to pick my up). It's been quite some time since Dar Dar walked me home and I must say I totally enjoy it whenever he walks me home!

(The Menu at "New York New York")

(Dar Dar so engrossed in the menu!)

(Our dinner - the left is mine while the right is Dar Dar's!!Very nice!)

    (Us with our food!)

I must say today has been one of the best days I have in this year. Of course I'm hoping better days will come, but having a day like today, I thank God and shall take it as a bonus! Hope you guys noticed how beautiful the weather today had made the view around us to be. *Cheers*

    hApPy 25th Month Anniversary

    (Us!!!)

Alright haven blogged for quite a couple of days coz I've been having overtime till rather late these few nights again. The days passed by stressfully but still manageable I guess. Nearly had some rocky and rough times in my relationship but fortunately things calmed down and we're kind of back together happily. And so here we have....our 25th month anniversary!

We had lunchie at our favourite pasta place at Shaw again. It's "Creation" time once again!!keke...We went there despite it was out of Raffles Place area coz it's our special day and so it's gonna be different. But today something scary happened as well. That is both me and Junne thought we saw the JI escapee Mas Selamat. If you still don't know about him, he's the JI leader who escaped from the Detention house few days back and has also been the most wanted person in Singapore. Junne reported to the police and even though I was not in Raffles Place during lunch time, my heart was still thumping, worried and wondering if anything bad would happen. But having Dar Dar around always helps easing my emotions and not long after I started to indulge into the delicious fusilli! Yummy! Here're some pics we took!

(Our fav pasta place and its chalky opening hrs =p)

(The nice picture hung that I always notice whenever I'm there!)

(My Seafood Aglio with Fusilli and me!!)

(Dar's Seafood Aglio with Spagetti and him!!)

(^Me and Dar Dar beside Singapore River^)

Dar Dar walked me back to Republic Plaza knowing that I was still feeling scared. Met up with Junne to get some holiday package pamphlets as both of us are planning to go on a holiday together somewhere in June. Anyone with great suggestions to share??keke...anyway I then returned back to client's place and it was back to work once again. I had to leave early (i.e. no overtime for me) coz I need to go collect my Prada phone which I sent for repair. And since it's our 25th Month Anniversary, we wanted to have dinner together. We eventually decide to have dinner with Dar Dar's mummy and sister though. Nveretheless I still enjoyed it! =)

And now that I'm back home earlier then usual, I'm soooooo enjoying myself! Hahax! This Friday will be my last day on this job engagement and this also mean I'll have to move on to another job engagement next Monday. Hopefully things will just get better for me!!Wish me luck! Meanwhile...enjoy the week guys!*wink*

    i just wish to say...

I haven done much this Sunday I drift away in sub consciousness...floating in semi dreamy mode, just wanting to lie on my bed for the whole day to avoid loneliness. I suddenly realised how much I'm afraid of being alone. Baby wasn't around with me today and I suddenly feel so restless. Was it really him or is it me being too tired from work?

I dreamt of many things this afternoon. Then I suddenly felt so lost. Lost from my own world. Waking up, going to work, taking my month salary every month end, and repeating it every day. I don't know what I have achieved. I fall in love but there is always this weakness in me. I fall in love and I thought I was happy and blessed but the feeling runs away from me now and then whenever he's not around. I work and thought I was on my track to being successful...but only to fall into a lost state asking myself what I have achieved or what I will be able to achieve in the coming days. I envy many people, but I do not know how I can grow out of it and one day be proud of myself. And I mean really be proud of myself.

I haven blogged for a week. Probably this is the reason. My sub-conscious state being too lost to be able to mention about my days anymore. Is this just a passing phase for me? How can I cross it? Will I feel better about myself after a sleep? Where is my pursuit of beauty in my life leading me to? I feel like I'm in a emotional low...I feel so insecure...and maybe this is why I miss him especially much today. I'm afterall a woman searching for security. Weak might be a description some people at their strong state might use on me...but...am I really the only one passing such a phase? To be bluffed so often by an illusion I allowed myself to be blinded with.....An illusion of a successful picture...but only to be unveiled with so many loopholes in life...that is me...the me now.
