Trip to Bali - W Retreat and Spa! - Day 1!

Just got back from Bali with Bernard for our first Valentine's Day together as well as my first Birthday celebration with him.

Stayed at W Retreat and Spa Resort at Bali Seminyak. Have heard so much about Bali but have never visited there. Beautiful place I would say, but gosh the weather there is just crazily hot. Once we step out of the hotel and get onto the streets of Seminyak to walk around, both of us were sweating like mad!

We spent 5D4N there. A pretty comfortable length of stay to relax and recharge! We only managed to reach the hotel at around noon time and then we had to wait for check-in into the hotel. While waiting, we chilled at the hotel lobby area for a drink while I got impressed by the view of the pool and the beach! *Loveee*

    (Chilling~)

Checking into the hotel, I got my first mini surprise of a advanced birthday cake from W hotel! And goshy was I falling in love with our room! Really big and spacious!

(My first surprise for the trip! Thank you W!)

(Oh and check out the resemblance of the sticker on the window this blog! LOL)

We then decided to head out for a massage! And yes I did my home work beforehand and heard several good reviews about the Aspya Day Spa + Hair Space. The hair stylist Mr Bill Wilson has been praised for his hair cutting skills and so...I just had to bring Bernard over to try it! End result? I loved it! And we had a 90 mins body massage there as well after his hair cut and my mani+pedi cure!~

(My love having his haircut by Wilson!)

    (And there...my new nail colour!:p)

Wilson recommended us to head over Mamasan for dinner. It was walking distance from the spa place and it's a 2-storey restaurant! Since it was an impromptu decision and we didn't make an reservations before we headed over, we were allocated the bar seats on the 2nd storey. But then again, the sofa seats, the attentive staff and the lovely food still perfected our dinner there!

(This is the level 1 dining area of Mamasan...The place is really packed!)

    (2nd Storey of Mamasan~)

    (Yummy food and cocktails~)

(And there you have it! Tadaaa...Bernard's first time appearance in Bellavida's blog!! Me and Bernard @ Mamasan!)

After dinner, we headed back to hotel for rest to get ourselves prepared for the next day! :)
