Long awaited break!! - Day 9 and Day 10 (HK Trip Part I)

It's been really long since Dar and me went to Hong Kong together...feels really good! Our flight from Singapore to Hong Kong is at 630am, so Dar and me woke up really early!

    (Before we enter the gate~)

It's our first time taking Jetstar to Hong Kong (cos' my Brother requested for us to take Jetstar back together when they join us in HK subsequently), and I was initially feeling quite uncomfortable about it cos' I usually take Cathay...but oh well...it didn't turn out too bad. =) And we took a straight shuttle bus to our hotel from Hong Kong Airport~

(HK MTR Map now...can't believe how much it changed within a year!)

    (In the shuttle bus!)

    (Goodie weather!)

Reaching in our hotel and leaving our luggage, since it wasn't time for our check-in yet, Dar and me went out to shop around Dundas St first! And of course, we also visited my favourite Argyle Centre and Langham Mall!! *Woot*~

(Lunch on Day 1 in some eatery outside Langham Mall! - My Tofu Mango and Dar's 回锅面!)

(Us and Our dinner at a 茶餐厅)

(And here's my buys for Day 1!!hee hee~)

Day 2 of the trip started sweet with a nice Dim Sum breakfast! This is one of the dim sum restaurants we went on our first trip to Hong Kong about a couple of years ago...since as nice and delicious!

    (2nd day out!!)

    (Yummilicious!!)

After breakfast, Dar accompanied back to Argyle Centre! I brought him to eat the nicey cold noodles sold at the basement of Argyle Centre...always a favourite bite! Dar love it too!! And a lot more yummy food too...such as my curry fish balls and mango dessert!

    (Nice cold noodles!)

(Must have mango dessert @ 许留山)

(Roadside stall food!! Dar's bacon sausage roll and my fav curry fish ball!!)

Near late afternoon to evening time, after going back to hotel to put our buys, we also made a trip down to Central and Hong Kong station area to shop around abit~

    (Me with my favourite Bulgari!)

(A few snaps of the area...our first time @ IFC Mall too! It's really big~)

Night time, we went to our favourite roadside stall @ Temple Street for our dinner! They sell really good food there!! Oh and of course, we had the Blue Ribbon beer which cannot be found in Singapore...

    (Nice beer from USA)

    (The unforgettable food we ordered!!)

Super love our dinner!!! And after dinner, we went back to our room to rest our feets! *tired* More food and shopping to go~ huhoo~~

(My Buys of Day 2!!! *beams*)

Shall blog on Part 2 of my Hong Kong trip...*stay tuned*

Long awaited break!! - Day 7 and Day 8

How can my long break not include some beauty grooming session right?

So on Day 7, it was rebonding time for my hair and pedicure session! And phew, just the rebonding of my hair already took the whole of my Monday afternoon! And since I didn't have my breakfast and lunch before I went to do my hair, my hunger ended my persistence to sit through to dye my hair as well...so I left to grab a little bite before going for my pedicure~

(Moi fat feet! hurhur~ but i'm lovin' the uber dark purple colour!)

After all the beauty treats, it was time to meet up with Xiaowan and her bf, Ben, for dinner @ Cineleisure Billy bombers!

(Slurp! And how can I possibly not have my chocolate milk shake when I'm @ Billy Bombers!)

And of course, after dinner, Fang came over to join us for the SGD8 Kbox promotion again! It was a nice singing session together! =)

On Day 8, I went back to have my hair dyed! And I totally agree a darker colour really helps to make the hair look healthier! After hair dye session, I hurried back home to pack my luggage for my trip on the next day!

Totally happy for my Hong Kong trip! And now that I'm back from the trip, stay tuned for my next post on my Hong Kong trip!!! Huhoo~

Long awaited break!! - Day 5 and Day 6

Day 5 and 6 of my leave is really just simple days of relaxation well spent before my Hong Kong trip~

Day 5 was on a Saturday. Dar and me woke up and we tried making some pancakes for our brunch for the first time!! Was lacking on some maple syrup though...but still...it was tasty!! More pancakes for me plssss =)

(Yums! We were so excited when we were making our first pancake! LOL)

After brunch, Dar accompanied me down to the Her World Glasshouse located at Bugis Junction so I can apply for the annual subscription! Oh and we had our lunch @ some noodle eatery @ Bugis Junction Basement too!

    (Us waiting for our food!)

We visited Cold Storage too cos Dar is "scheduled" to cook us some really nice anchovy pasta with my favourite brussel sprouts!!! *Lalalalala*

(Dar meticulously prepared the ingredients before he started cooking~)

    (Entrée~)

    (*Drools*)

And the pasta summed up my Day 5! Day 6, being a typical Sunday, started off with Dar going for his morning soccer while I slept in till around 1-2pm~ And that's not all cos Dar came home that afternoon and surprised me with a bag of steamboat ingredients!!! We seldom have steamboat on a Sunday afternoon for our brunch..so it was indeed a pleasant surprise for me!! *grinz* (No peektures though!)

Night time Dar came over to my house to eat my Daddy's Sunday cooked food! He downed his 1,2,3 bowls of rice as usual, kept me company for a while before he hugged his big belly and went home for rest! hurhur~

Nicey nice weekend with no pressures of working on the next day! That Sunday I finally got to stay up till 3am watching my pipi.cn!!

(My current Hong Kong drama series addiction now!)
