start of my super long weekend!!

Yeepx..Bella's starting her 6 days super long weekend from the moment she open her eyes tomorrow..or..rather..NOW!!keke...

Yesterday managed to meet the group of A10s for lunchie at Temasek Towers again..but this time round not the Thai Restaurant. We settled at the basement floor for some chinese eateries and bubble tea too for meee...

It was really nice having lunchie with them..and I specially enjoy the rubbish chatty session we had back in office pantry level after our lunchie! The sofa there really made us so relax and comfy! hahax...

Went back to work as usual after the chatty session and overall work for me yesterday was fine..though with some fire ignited cos' I kinda quarrel with Mr. US..but I didn't allowed that to bother me too much after that though..heh heh!

And as for today..work was a bit of rush cos' needa pull out from the client's place again, the work was kinda crazy given the time span there. Fortunately the client is really cooperative, unlike the Mr. US who totally didn't seem to care much about the job! Humph!!

Anyways glad that I joined the fellow A10s for claypot lunchie!!We went to the claypot eatery at Market Street CarPark. It was really crowded but fortunately we managed to find seats for the 8 of us. The food there is not bad I feel..though all of us were like complaining about the superly hot weather today despite us being in a supposedly air-conditioned place..Laughs..

Was really full after the claypot rice (though I didn't finish it)! Had drinks with Yu Chiar, Desiree, Yogi and Timo at Ya Kun Kaya Toast and chat a little before heading back for work. I was like complaining constantly to Timothy (who's working with me at the client today) that I was feeling so crazily full and bloated..cos' I REALLY am! hahax...anyway putting the complains aside..it was back to rushing of work all the way till around 515pm before we pull out from client's place and went back to office. Had to settle some admin stuff as well..so ended leaving office only at 630pm. I was suppose to meet April for dinner at 645pm at Orchard! And knowing she's so gonna kill me..she proved me right when she rang me up and screamed for me to reach fast...hahax...

We wanted to have Sushi Tei at Paragon..but due to the evening crowd, we were told that we had to wait for 30 mins. So with some cravings for Coffee Club food, we went to the one at Paragon instead! Bad choice to go to that branch though! Incomparable to the one opposite Heeren! The food at Paragon side was horrid!!Yucks...

After the horrible dinner, we walked around cos' my dearest April dear is in her shopping mood today and wants to get herself a bag. We headed to Takashimaya since there's more choices there. She saw several bags but finally set her eyes on a Louis Vuitton bag and made her decision to buy it within minutes! Well sounds like a little impulse buying but as long as she likes it and is happy...it's a great buy I feel! Girls need pampering..though I guess most guys don't think so..hahax...

Not satisfied with our dinner...and with our heels-tortured feets complaining...we walked over to the Coffee Club opposite Heeren instead to chill. I finally get to eat my Muddy Mudpie again!!And oh April was like starving from dinner time cos' her serving was really not sufficient and she was still hungry, so she ordered her Chicken pie! And with drinks to accompany us..we carried on our chatting for a little while more. Was suppose to meet her hubby for movies but eventually headed home cos' I didn't really feel like watching the movie they wanted to watch. April took train with me and alighted at Bishan whereby her hubby would be sweetly waiting for her while I alighted at Yio Chu Kang MRT whereby my Daddy (Lao Dou) will be fatherly waiting for me outside the MRT station too...hahax! Daddy's the best!!=p

Back home took my nicey bath and now comfortably sitted before my lappie "chatting" with my dear readers here..keke! Really enjoy the night out with April tonight..and we were saying we should meet up at least once every month now! suddenly realise I really have been missing out a lot of fun in my youth-years for like quite some time..keke.. and it's gonna be my sweetie Mingbao's turn tomorrow to date me out for shopping and eating! hahax...so gonna rest my feet well so that they will bring me around healthily tomorrow! And so till my updates tomorrow...enjoy Labour Day!! I have to say...I simply lurrrveeee holidays!!heehee~~

Miss Xianie's Farewell (Long overdue!=p)

Mentioned in one of my previous post that my colleague Miss Xianie is leaving DT. Last Friday was her last day in DT and I've decided to planned a farewell party for her. Felt like that day of my life was like really dedicated to her cos' I only spent the whole evening and night with her but also during lunch time.

We met up with the Morganies to have lunch at a rather famous fish bee hoon stall known as Ka-Soh Fish Head Bee Hoon. They actually sell really nice cze char there. We ordered quite a lot of food sliced fish bee hoon, 三捞和粉 (fried sam lou horfun)，prawn paste fried chicken，oatmeal prawns，Toufu with vegetables and sambal kangkong...Yummy. I didn't really eat a lot though cos' didn't have much appetite that afternoon.

After lunch it was back to my client's place to rush my work so that I can leave earlier that evening since I'm the one who booked the place and stuff. Managed to pull out at around 515pm. All of us were like suppose to meet at 615pm at City Hall MRT so that we can proceed to Hog's Breath for our dinner by 630pm since I booked it as that time. Ended up I was like the only one to reach here on time. Zujia came slightly later and I decided to just walk over to Chijmes with Zujia first. We waited and waited and waited...and it was only 1 hour later that we finally managed to place our orders. Called up Kbox to postpone the timing from 8pm to 9pm since we most probably won't be able to make it on time judging from the dinner time. Dinner was nice and we had a great time chatting and laughing over dinner.

And again..I had to rush over to Kbox first to secure the rooms cos' they usually let out the rooms to others if we reach late. Fortunately I've Sarah and Wei Khim to accompany me there first. We were so full we could like hardly walk without complaining we're full. The way to Marina Square Kbox was rather far but it was fun with the 2 ladies with me giggling away.

We reached the place and finally settled down. Junney was already at the area and joined me right after we fixed the rooms. The rest came in much later and though we were only suppose to sing till 12 midnight..as some of our colleagues reached only at around 11pm (cos' poor them had to work OT), we were allowed to extend our singing session till 1am. The craze only really came at around 12am and while we were contemplating if we should extend further, the next timing would be till 4am (and each of us got to order another drink which costs min SGD8). We gathered 4am would be too long and we kept to the 1am limit. It was really fun running around the 2 rooms that we booked and singing with all the different colleagues. It was so much fun and I hope with this happy and joyous farewell...Miss Xianie will hug a nice closing to her journey in DT and move on to another phase in her life. Though Bella understands that people come and go (especially in the field of Audit), she knows she will miss Miss Xianie...a lady whose ever so innocent and kind at heart. And though along the way the planning and putting of the farewell into reality was "hair-pulling" and frustrating at times, I'm so happy it happened..I really am!

To Miss Xianie: Faith always takes the first step forward. You have great faith in God and have taken the first step with great belief. I feel so happy for you. In a new environment, I wish you all the best and if at any time you feel uncomfortable, remember you have gone through so much darkness but you persevered till the end because in you I believe many will come to see that "Darkness cannot put out the Light; it can only make it brighter". Read your blog and you mentioned you have mixed feelings...but isn't the transition stage always full of discomfort? I look forward to hearing joyous updates of you in your new workplace soon. You'll be fine cos' you're a light that is ever glowing. Take care babe! =)

But come to think of it..I might not say the same if I'm right in front of it though...not when I can sense the rubber-ish touch of the dresses!haha...

Rainy day...

Woke up this morning..all sunny out there! I was even contemplating if I should wear something cottoney or wooley..coz Bella is super scared of warm temperature! But somehow despite the warm weather in the early morning..I chose a wooley 2 piece top. Lucky for me coz just when I fell asleep in my one hour bus journey to work..it started to pour and the aircon in the bus was really crazy. No explanation needed even though I love cold weathers. It was just crazy if not for my wooley top! hahax...

Hmm didn't really do much the whole morning given the cool weather! Too comfy for work...laughs! Lunch came and Normy, Wei Khim, Chi ho and me had our lunch at the Thai restaurant that I mentioned in one of my previous post. I ordered their Green Curry Chicken today!!Nice to have in the rainy day. We finished our food quite fast and took Normy's suggestion to go for the Bubble tea inn downstairs for some bubble tea talk..keke..and so we chit-chatted for quite some time there until it was around 130pm when we proceeded back to work.

Not much sun heat could be felt even til the afternoon. And nothing special went on for the rest of the day except for Mr. US (my current engagement AIC i.e. Auditor-in-charge) making my blood boil at intervals during the 2nd half of the day with some of his pushy push skills (i.e. pushing things to others if u get what I mean)! Argh...but what to do..just have to bear with it!

Today is Miss Xianie's final day in this job..and counting down 2nd last day in DT. Tomorrow the dinner and KTV will take place..praying hard nothing goes wrong! We had some photo craze near the end of the day just before she pulls out from the engagement.

Tomorrow gonna have Morgan Team Lunch to farewell Miss Xianie. Seems like a lot of events going on tomorrow..but the saddest one is that tomorrow is the day I'm suppose to pull out from client's place..and the pulling out day always tend to be the busiest day when all will rush like mad to clear review points! Pray hard for me I can leave early tomorrow coz I just checked my DT mail and realise he shot a email with all the audit working papers asking me to clear the review points..haven opened them coz I never bring my working lappie back. Just hope the review points are little and will be easy to clear...*Bella keeping fingers crossed!!*
