NYNY + District 9

Just last Thursday, I met up with Fang and Xiaowan for dinner @ AMK Hub. I was held up in office that evening so I only managed to reach at around 830pm while the sweeties met up first.

Dinner was at New York New York while we chatted and updated each other with the recent happenings! And forgetful me actually forgot to bring Xiaowan's pressie from HK on that day *Xiaowan I promise to pass it to u the next time we meet kays??*

After leaving NYNY, we had initially planned to find another place to sit down and chat. But after accompanying Fang up to Cathay Cineplex to get her movie tix for her upcoming date with her beloved boy, we changed plans and decided to catch the movie "District 9" since there was one screening at 1008pm! Needless to say, we rushed like mad! hahax...

It was quite an interesting movie I would say. Not one that thrills you like those action pact movie...but oh well...acceptable I guess! Heh heh...But of all, it's nice to meet the gals once a week! *Huggies* (^^)

Re-discover Hong Kong 18th Aug 09 to 21st Aug 09!

It's been one week since I'm back from Hong Kong!

I went for a rather short trip of 4D3N to Hong Kong with two of my girlfriends, Lifang and Soryan last week (18th Aug to 21st Aug 09).

Without our boyfriends by our side, we felt a little helpless cos' there's no one to carry our shopping bags and also no one to direct the route for us! hahax...but still we manage to "brave" through this trip!!And it's all about shopping for us~=p

Finally reaching Hong Kong at around 12pm, we hurried and took a cab to make our way to our hotel @ Jordan!

Upon reaching Prudential Hotel @ Jordan, it starting pouring! =( But fortunately, after putting our luggage down in our rooms and of course having some photo craze, Ms Rain decided to give way to Mr Sun so we could enjoy our day!

Our 1st shopping location was at Argyle Shopping Center located at Mongkok! I took Dar's sis advice and tried the milk tea with roasted pearls as well as the "len mian" at the basement and true enoughthey're both really special and tasty!!! We spent almost 4 hours in that shopping center alone till our legs nearly gave way! And of course, this also means we were carrying bags and bags of stuff! heh heh...so at around 730pm, we went back to our hotel to put our loots before going back to Mongkok for our night shopping along the streets as well as grab some food!

For the second day, we rise and shine @ around 9am and left the hotel at around 10am for our dim sum breakfast! We initially had some tough time finding the dim sum places and fortunately, we finally found one somewhere near Yau Ma Tei...It was one of the dim sum spots I went with Dar during our Hong Kong trip previously~

And I wasn't feeling at my tip top condition actually...cos my throat felt super dry and it actually hurt a little! Gosh it was only the 2nd day!!! So I decided to get some herbal tea to help...but this also became one of the MOST MEMORABLE drink of my trip...Gui Lin Tea...SUPERRRRLY BITTER!!!And it cos HKD 45 for a bottle...and main point? ---> The bottle is soooo big!!! *faints*

Anyways...our main shopping location for the 2nd day was my Fav of all time - Langham Place!!!Huhoo~ I love it cos this was also the place I bought the most when I previously went to Hong Kong! Needless to say, damage to my wallet was great but no regrets!!!heh heh~

We went back to Arygle Center after putting our loots in the hotel room again cos' we did some art stuff the previous day and needed to go collect them. Fang and I quickly grabbed the chance and have our "len mian" again!!!*yum yum*

And not much photos after that cos we were too busy walking and shopping around~hehe! And soon, it was rise and shine for the 3rd day!! We spent some time dolling ourselves up that day and left hotel only at around 12pm! =p

And since it's like the last shopping day for us cos it'll be hard to shop on the 4th day due to our afternoon flight, we went back to our the previous shopping malls for our last blast! Argyle, Langham etc

And I must say...I totally enjoy the Cze Char @ Temple Street! To be able to enjoy the crabs and prawns and "La La" (though I didn't get to order it this time round cos the ladies don't eat La La), and then coupling them with their beer while sitting along the streets is just heaven for me! And so, the 3rd night's dinner is like the best for me!!hees...

Back in our hotel room, we started packing our luggage til around 12am before we decided to go out for some walk along the Hong Kong street after midnight~And with that, it more or less ended our 3rd day!

4th day (our last day of the trip), we checked out at around 11am plus before going out for our breakfast and last min walk around before setting off to the Airport via cab again at around 130pm. *Sads to leave*

Flight was not long at all cos' I kept myself occupied with some Hong Kong movie which was so touching that I teared! hahax..and I shopped even in the plane!!!hahax...bought this!

Upon reaching Singapore Airport, Fang and I went to buy some alcoholic stuff at DFS before checking out! Dar Dar went to Airport to fetch me so we can have dinner with this Daddy together!!

And that ended my "Re-discover Hong Kong" trip with the babes! Iwill definitely be back in Hong Kong cos' it's such a shopping paradise! =p But till then, I shall save up more money! hahax! *cheers*
