Today Bella managed to work throughout the full day...and even managed to help out with some office work. Had lunchie with Dar today...so happy simply cos' I get to eat with Dar! heex...(though it was raining sooooo heavily during lunch time and part of me got drenched even when I've an umbrella with me!)...Seriously the weather these days are indeed crazily unpredictable!

Went back after lunch and helped out one of the AM in my department with her job stuff all the way till 530pm. Though I was kind of like coughing throughout the day, but at least the fever stayed quite some distance away from me. Seems like many people in office know I've been sick cos' quite a few of them came over and ask if I was feeling okie and suggest that I should rest at home if I'm still not feeling well. But seriously, after being grounded at home for so many days due to my poor health, being able to conquer a full day at work really feels great.

But I wonder if it's also because I worked full day today (unlike my usual past few days at home whereby I will sleep and rest on the bed full day), I seem to feel really lethargic the moment I reach home and finished bathing. Had dinner with my parents and rested for awhile while watching television...and now...Bella's fever ISH BACK!!!*Gua Gua~~

Guess I'll have to try to rest early tonight cos' tomorrow I'm booked on job already. Hopefully I'll be able to hold out tomorrow as well as Thursday (cos' Bella's on leave this Friday and next Monday!!=p). Just took my medication and finished washing up...gonna Zzz soon. Not much pics gonna be taken these few days due to my disastrous hair (which I've already shown you guys -.-)...but do stay around with me..hope to be able to show you guys nice pics on Friday *fingers crossed again* heex...smuacks all! Bella woke up this morning feeling better, except for my cough. The fever set in right after my brunch and so I took my medication again. Fortunately, by around 3pm the fever has subsided and I was fit enough to go out.

I traveled all the way down to the Toni and Guy Academy at Bugis, but only to find that I've gotten the location wrong. The instructor (i.e. the person whom I'm suppose to help be her demo model) is at the T&G salon at Heeren. So I rushed down to Heeren to look for her. Had some discussion on what to do with my hair..and...snip snip snip! There goes my near-waist long hair~~*I was swallowing my saliva hard when I see all the hair on the floor..*

As the demo on the day itself (which is this coming Friday) has it's time constraint, some pre-lightening and colouring was done on my hair today first. The colouring was okie...but..the bleaching was something I've never done before. And as the bleaching was done first so that when the actual coloring is done on Friday, there would be a lightening effect instantly, I have to bear with the pure bleach result for the next 3 days. I think I'm so gonna scare everyone in my office with this hair...a auditor with this hair - what do you think? ermps...(Stay tuned for my color change on Friday..hope it'll turn out nice!heex...)

Anyways...Dar came to find me after he knocked off from work and he looked pretty shocked when he first saw me through the glass window...lolx! We then head to Far East Plaza for one of my favourite Claypot Chicken Rice. I was not allowed to eat all the chicken cos' supposedly, eating chicken makes one's coughing worse (though I wonder if it's true =p)...After which we then headed home by bus...and for eons...I finally got to sleep on Dar's shoulder again. Zzz...

Hmmm my medical leave ends today, and tomorrow Bella will have to report back to office for work. Hopefully my body dusson fail me again. *Prays*

Stay home weekend! =(

This whole weekend is definitely nothing fun for me...sobx...

Last friday, i went to the Polyclinic at Hougang for my follow up. Gosh...this is actually the first time i go to a Polyclinic to see doctor. Didn't know there could be such a long queue despite the fact that I went there at around 9am. *Stunned* I went for registration first before being given a number to wait. I waited for more then one hour in my trembling and feverish state...arghh...

Finally it was my turn and I went in, only to be shocked by all the attitudes and common sense of the doctor. She kept asking me all the questions that were already stated in the letter then the A&E department ask me to pass to her. I was asked to do some tests again...and not surprisingly, it was waiting time again...I waited to take the tests (and I teared when taking the blood test..ouch!) and i waited for the results to be out. This took me about one hour again. Then I brought the result and went back to the doctor. Waited again. After seeing the doctor, who failed to give any conclusion for my prolonged fever, suggested that if by Monday (which is tomorrow) my fever still persist, then I'll have to go to the hospital again. Sobx!

Went to the Pharmacy to take my medication, and I thought it should be fast. But...I waited for another hour. I wonder if I'm dying...they might be too slow to save me! And I'm definitely not the only one who is discontented with the service there because just sitting behind me were a family complaining as well.

Went back home...ate some green bean soup that my Daddy cooked as well as my medication and concassed! I was totally knocked out cos' the medication given causes drowsiness. Nothing special happened after that...and Saturday morning I woke up feeling better, but only to realise the fever came in again near evening time. Had no choice but to take the new fever medication given by the doctor (I didn't want to take it cos' whenever I took it, I'll feel nauseous and want to puke!). Dar came to find me with my favourite soya dumplings from his house area after his soccer with his colleagues.

Today, Bella's cough has deteriorated. Just can't stop coughing once I start. Sooo horrible! And now, my fever is back again. I really don't want to go to hospital again. Crys...And I'm actually scheduled to go for some hair preparation tomorrow for this friday (cos' going to Tony n Guy for some hair dye demo). Gonna take my medication and rest early now...hope everything will get better and will stay better! Nights!

not recovering...=(

*Crys*...I still remember my last post was titled that I'm recovering...but unfortunately not so fast as I proposed. I managed to get out of house for the whole day yesterday and went to work though I was still not feeling at my best but at least the fever stayed away from me for most of the work day until nearing the end. And sadly by the time I reached home, the fever bounced back again, and though somewhat controlled after medication, I was having fever this morning causing me to feel really horrible, so much so that even though I woke up and took my towel to the bathroom already, my head was spinning so badly that I decided to go to work only in the afternoon.

I've run out of all the fever medication all the doctors gave. And though my fever left me around noon, giving me enough energy to prepare myself for work, it came back again when I reach the client's place. Still, I hold out till the end of the day. As I was taking my laptop home, and given the fact that the bus stop outside my house area is quite a distance from my house, I decided to stay put at Dar's house and wait for Daddy to pick me up when he drives my mum home. Dar ended work later then me, so I waited for him at his house area first. He had additional work today and by the time he found me outside his house, my head was already burning. I'm banned from eating soooooo many delicacies. I've got soooooooo many cravings these days. I can't eat soya dumplings. I can't eat spicy food (enough to kill me!!). I can't eat fried food. I can't eat chocolates. I can't eat my favourite pasta. I can't eat so much so much!!!!!!!*feel my deprivation!*

And now, though fever has subsided for the time being, but the bloatedness in Bella's little tummy is killing me. I can't sleep or even sit well with the bloated tummy. Wonder what's causing the bloatedness. Feel so horrible. *Sobx* Tomorrow most probably not going to work cos' I finished what I can do (well cos' I did really few workpapers in this job engagement due to this idiotic viral infection), and also cos' I needa go back to polyclinic for follow-up as pre-arranged when I went to A&E last Saturday. Think I needa get more medication for my fever tomorrow. Nothing fills my tummy more then these pills these days. So saddening right? Bella's so down in her morale these days...feel so useless cos' I can't get much things done...my life is dull with only medication and torturing fever bugging me...take my illness away!!!Arghhhh....*Crys*

Hopefully I can come up with some happy posts soon. But for now...I need to spend some time bearing with my bloaty tummy..so excuse me =(

On my way to recovery - or so I hope! =p

It's Tuesday (erm or rather Wednesday) now...Bella didn't work even after the long weekend. Stayed at home whole day today (Tuesday) and rested. Daddy cooked me some water chestnut drink to help me cool the heat in my body while I continued with my routine medication. Sobx...these 1.5 weeks have really been torturing...I wonder how many pills I've swallowed really...and the thing is Bella hates swallowing pills!! Argh...

Tomorrow (Wednesday) Bella shall try her very best to get out of her bed early in the morning and try to go to work. Haven been working since (strictly speaking) last Wednesday and I really feel so bad cos' I feel like such a useless person who haven contributed much in this job, especially when the Senior of this job is sooooo nice. Sobx...But Dar kept consoling me that it can't be helped since I'm sick. I've been consistently taking my medication and the fever haven been bouncing back so badly...oh well at least it's not that high when it comes back. Let's just pray and hope that it'll stay this way if not better.

I really want to go out in my healthy state! And I want to have many many good food!!!*Gua Gua* I miss all the good food...cos' this period I haven been able to have much of a good food, and even if the good food ever comes, my stale tongue haven been helping in tasting them. I seriously hate the way it feels when my tongue is bitter and tasteless (if u know what I mean...-.-). So now...I shall go take my rest and hope tomorrow will be the start of my beautiful life again. And though I haven fully recover yet...I hope I can hold out throughout the whole day at work tomorrow. Pray for me guys!!

If u've been visiting my blog, you probably know that Bella's been really sick for the week. Was suppose to have a rather enjoyable job engagement this week and next week...but only to find myself too sick to work...Arghh...

Since Monday morning, Bella was already feeling not at her best when she was getting ready to go to work. Bodyache all over my body was the starting point to all...but being the first day of the new engagement, Bella hung on and worked through the day. Fortunately, we didn't have to work till late that day...but by the time Bella reached home, the fever had already set in. sobx...it started at 37.6 and proceeded up the ladder to 37.8 Degrees Celsius...had to make do with the panadols I had..

Tuesday woke up feeling still strong enough to go to work..and since I didn't work late the previous day I felt it's better to not take MC unless I really cannot hold on anymore. So I went to work and perservered for another day...but sadly by the time i reached home in the evening...my thermometer was measuring 38.7 degrees. Was kind of like bed-ridden cos' I was too weak to walk around. As a result, I didn't go to work on Wednesday. Fortunately I have a understanding Senior in this job and granted me to not go work on Wednesday. Things seem better by Wed night after much rest..so Bella went back to work on Thursday.

On Thursday morning, when Dar called to wake me up for work, my body was aching so badly, especially when I breathe. But ignoring the pain I thought as long as the fever dusson comes back it should be fine. But failing to keep my fingers crossed, by the time I reached Raffles Place MRT, the fever jumped back again. =( So instead of heading straight to the client's place, I went to visit the doctor first. Waited for about an hour before I went back to office. This first doctor said it might be viral infection but suggest I take the fever medicine and wait for a few more days before taking any tests should the fever persist. Was given MC for 2 days...but I still went back to client place cos' I wanted to bring my lappie and some work back to do. Had lunch with Junney and Ying at sakae sushi and also at dessert house. My appetite was really bad that day so didn't eat much. Went back to client's place after lunch and looking at the hot weather outside the glass window, decided to ask Daddy to come pick me up at Raffles cos' had my lappie and some doc to bring home.

Friday was stay home again. But at night went to visit a Chinese Physician (strongly insisted by my parents)..and this second doctor said it's probably some sort of cold which I totally disagree! And due to some family problems, Bella decided to move in to Dar's place on Friday night to rest till Monday before I head home again. Hope I'll recover by the time I reach home. Anyways...took back a bag of horrible tasting medicine from the Chinese Physician and trust me it tasted so horrible that I even cried when Dar fed me the first dose =( Yes it was that bad. With no improvements after all the medication, last night Bella reached her highest temp of 39.2 degrees. Went down to Silver Cross clinic downstairs Dar's house and was asked to go to the Accident & Emergency (A&E) Department in the hospital to take blood test. So Dar accompanied me to Singapore General Hospital A&E after we had dinner. We waited super long for the result to be out..and only reached home at 3am. So at A&E, this third doctor said it's viral infection as well. Took back yet another bag of medicine for the day and am swallowing them now. So sick of all the medication and fluctuation of my body temp. Now Bella's in the healthy period cos' the fever is not here...wonder if it's gonna come back later (cos' my fever will keep fluctuating). Keeping fingers crossed again *XX*

Updates on Mother's day weekend

Bella's been sick since Monday till now and hence the lack of updates.

In my previous post, Bella mentioned about a secret mystery that she'll be having last Saturday...actually it's a radio program (883jiafm) lucky draw which comprises of the grand prize of a trip to Zurich, Switzerland for the UEFA soccer match of France VS Italy. Accommodation, flight and the match will all be free for the lucky draw winner. Hmm but unfortunately, even after forsaking my Kelong trip with my colleagues and going for this draw...we didn't win the prize. Sobx...Anyways...we went to buy a Mother's Day pressie for my mum. Bought a Zara top for her...both Dar and me agreed that it'll look good on my mum...

Then we proceeded to Esplanade cos' I've never been to the library there before, Dar needs to return his book and also i actually wanted to borrow some wine books there..but unfortunately the book variety there is really pathetically small and so I didn't get to borrow any eventually. But I must say the library there is really nice. Shortly after, Dar's dad came over and fetch us to go to Dar's Grannie's birthday dinner. Dinner's held at Mong Hing Teochew Restaurant at around Beach Road...we had I guess around 6-7 dish dinner and while not all the dishes were fantastic...some of them were really not bad at all. I particularly love the cray fish and the Yam dessert! Was really full after the dinner and there was a cake-cutting session too. I went home after that while Dar went over to meet the rest of F4 cos' I was going to a mahjong session at my JC Buddy Liangwei's house. Such a pity I didn't join my Junior College mates for the gathering on Saturday due to some mis-communication (yesh there was suppose to be a JC class gathering on last Saturday but I missed it!!Arghhh)...sobx! But fortunately I still got to meet up Liangwei, Zhongwei and my beloved Bokie for the overnight Mahjong session. 5 hours of mahjong..won a little $$$ (=p)...and it was morning 7am when we left Liang's house.

Grabbed some sleep before I was awaken by my daddy cos' we're going to a famous "UNION Chee Pow Kai" just beside SIM University to have our brunch as a day time Mother's day celebration. I ate quite a lot of Chee Pow Kai (direct translation would mean "paper wrapped chicken"..hahax) cos' it's really delicious and it's been ages since I last went there, and this brunch totalled to SGD84..but I'll definitely go back again for more Chee Pow Kais!!(=p) After that went back home to rest and sleep until evening time. Mummy had told me earlier on that dinner's gonna be a spread. And since Dar didn't join us for brunch (cos' Mummy was asking where he was)..I asked him over to join for Mother's Day dinner. He was called back to work at the Alexandra UOB Branch for the whole day...poor him. He subsequently came over to my house at around 7pm...coincidentally the same timing as my parents. Had dinner...and it was really quite a spread! It's been quite some time since Dar came over to my house for dinner actually...

After that, I sent him home before going home to do my manicure to get myself prepared for the new working week! Hmm...but never to expect my awaited week to be a torturing one...sobx! Shall update more soon! *Gua Gua* crys...

Busy Busy Day from supposedly NOTHING!!

Yes..Bella's supposed to be unassigned today as well...but WHY? I was booked and so occupied from the minute I sat down and on my lappie this morning!!Argh...Print files print files print files! Seriously hate it! And not just that...as though after many many hours of printing files and admin work is not enough to tire me out, Bella received a email from one of her seniors who was supposed to be on his study leave! He's been away for a month now...and other then shooting emails at a year 1 assistant, I wonder if he really did anything! The email he shot at me asking me to do this and that (esp when the field scope was a bit ridiculous!?!?!) really pissed me off! So I went and bought myself the sinful drink (my bubble milk tea) again to calm myself down..before returning back to office to email him back.. (Cc the Manager in charge of the job as well =p)...I just wanted to protect myself from being arrowed ridiculously =(...

Time's up...530pm and Bella couldn't stand to stay in that horrid place anymore. So packed her stuff and off she left for her sweety home. In the bus...fell asleep again till I don't even want to wake up and alight! hahax...and by the time I reached home I just wanted nothing else but just a nice bath, watch some television programme, have my home-cooked dinner, use my lappie (to settle some work stuff though) and go to sleep! Oh of course..something that I always look forward to..a mini web-cam session with Collin (though sometimes he don't really look interested..=p). He had to work overtime tonight so I could only wait by the computer and wait till he's free to let me see him. Not much chatting as usual...and Bella got bored...started to take some web cambie pics...heex! (^o^)

Did really random stuff in office today. Reached office around 845am, which is considered quite early in my office…laughs! Didn’t really sleep well last night again..wonder why! Cos’ this has been the case for the past few nights…Rahhhh..!!

Anyway it’s been a super long time since I last signed in unassigned in office (hmm we do this in office whenever we're not really assigned to an audit job engagement so that any seniors/managers who need help can get us to help out to improve office efficiency). And I must say I finally experienced today how signing in as unassigned in office really is dangerous…cos’ it seems like all the seniors and managers are constantly finding help! Though I signed in unassigned rather early, I was fortunate to still have a couple of hours of free time for me to follow up on my previous jobs. All the shooting of emails prevented me from being able to just leave the jobs aside. By around 1030am, I was asked to do a dispatch (which I totally enjoy cos’ I got to go out for a breather) to HSBC building. Though a short trip, but it made me feel so much better! Heex…

Was booked for most of the afternoon after lunch to do some work by a manager in my department…phew so at least I can avoid being booked by General audit people (cos’ one of my colleagues got booked by one of the senior there yesterday and ended up being requested to stay late)! =p

Anyways I had lunchie with Junney and Wei Khim at the claypot eatery at Market Street Carpark again. My tummy wasn’t feeling very well today but something in me still made me order the claypot Laksa which the eatery was supposed to be famous for. But then I must say I prefer their Claypot Chicken Rice better!! At the very end of it while I was very full…I was definitely NOT satisfied!~!Arghhhh…But at least the little photo taking fun after all of us finished our food did made me feel better! Heh heh! (^o^)

Went back to office and started my assigned work all the way till around 4pm. Around 430pm, my craving there was already in me since morning came back! Craving for Coffee Bean Pure Chocolate!! Junney had her stuff to do so I went ahead myself first. Went over to CPF building area to pay my bills for the month before buying my pure chocolate with whipped cream! Arhx...Fattening I know!=p But it's totally satisfying alright...hehex...Junney came over to find me shortly after and I accompanied her over to buy her Coffee-Oreo Bubble tea from Each-A-Cup stall (that's where I buy my usual bubble teas..heh heh) before heading back to office. Didn't do much when I reach office as it was already around 515pm (15 mins to knock off!!hahax)...So lazzz around before packing up and go.

Took a bus home and I seriously can't believe it..I actually slept more soundly on the noisy and rocky bus then when I slept at home on my comfy bed in the night!! Something must be wrong with me...hahax! Thereafter, I reached home and couldn't stand my fats growing anymore. So I changed into my usual dance attire and did a mini 30 mins dance warm-up plus shaking out session before devoting 15 mins into my hula-hoop and sit-ups! Mummy came back half-way and wanted to try on my hula-hoops but gave up in a hoof cos' it didn't stay there for 2 rounds..keke! Had my body scrub after that..and finally my delicious home-cooked dinner!!Lurrvee it...and I'm now hugging on to my Swedish Berries infusion and getting ready to sit down to do my appraisals which is due this Friday. Just realised today that I have 7 appraisals pending...*yawns*...want to finish it fast so that I can read some book!

Tomorrow's gonna be another unexpecting day cos' I'm unassigned all the way till I start a new job engagement next Monday...hope nothing horrible goes on! *fingers XX* =p

Happy 27th mOnth Anniversary!

Bella got her little wish come true for these last 2 days of her near 1-week break..cos' she managed to wear smiles on her face!

If u're a frequent visitor to this site, you probably know about Bella's boyfriend whom she term as Dar Dar. You probably guessed or sensed something really wrong going on...though Bella didn't mention much these days. It's been about a month since Bella really laughed and mentioned about Dar Dar...but today while I got the slightest chance, I'm gonna do that.

Many things happened and this relationship that Bella had was really going through a very rough patch. My closer friends might know a part of the story but no one knows the real tough going rate I went through. But being in a relationship, I still believe problems will come no matter how heavenly made 2 persons are made, and running or abandoning is never a very right choice to me. So I hang on till now...to the day I managed to wish myself, Collin and our relationship a very Happy 27th Month anniversary.

With nothing in my expectations, I won myself a movie and a dinner, a boyfriend to send me home and a smile on my face to accompany me in the night. We managed to catch the movie "Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" at Marina Square. It was really crude humour like how the movie was rated under. Thereafter, after finishing the 100 mins laugh in the cinema, we headed to Billy Bombers for dinner. I really miss the chocolate shake there...and it's of no doubt it's one of my all time favorites. Not really knowing what to order, we eventually ordered the cheese fries, Buffalo wings and Seafood pasta. Didn't really like the Buffalo wings cos' the sauce was too sour to suit my palate, but the cheese fries and pasta really isn't bad at all. Oh and of cos' my chocolate shake that made me sooooo satisfied.

Come to think of it..it's really been a long time since I went out with Dar Dar like this. I could only wish as time pass things will get better somehow. But no matter what...I'm glad I enjoyed my 27th month in this relationship with Collin!

Hmm and today marks the last day of my short break. Woke up feeling hungry, I drove out with Dar Dar for lunch at Ang Mo Kio. Knowing he needs to settle some stuff for his team jerseys (cos' he just formed a new soccer team with his friends and their first ever friendly match is coming), we drove down first to Aljunied's Joo Seng warehouse for some jersey browsing (out of which he ordered one FBT jersey for his 18-member team) before we headed down to Queensway shopping centre for the ordering of another Kappa jersey set for the team. Being still very unfamiliar with the routes, Dar Dar did most of the driving and this gave me the chance to relax. I must say driving really can be very tiring and stressful...or maybe it's just me...hahax!

Anyway not wanting to ruin the last few hours of my holiday, I reached home and did some mask and sea salt scrub. Am all relaxed now...waiting for dinner. =) Tomorrow's gonna be battlefield for me though, cos' with work piling up and emails bombing me through this 6 days, I really need to make some mental preparation! But till then, I shall not think of work but just enjoyment. Some spree sessions might be good...heex! =p
