A one week rest~

And so much for the 3 parts of updates (Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3)for the previous 2-3 weeks I had...now is down to my one week of leave starting from last Wednesday and ending tomorrow! Sobx...hahax..but oh well I enjoyed it and think I did had a good rest.

Nope Bella didn't go overseas or anywhere special in particular...apart from the very haPpy Wednesday I spent last week (which happened to be the first day of my 1-week holiday)...with a good and fruitful start...I granted myself several days out of these 7 days some time to really stay home and rest. Well peak period is coming real soon...and with one of my foot already stepped into the peakie hole...I gathered I need plenty of rest to prepare myself for the war to come!!hahax...

So Thurday and Friday were mostly resting @ home days, except for Thursday when I went over to Dar's place in the evening for some crabs..Yum Yum!!hahax...Apart from being able to sleep late and munching away while using my computer to spree around most of the time...Bella finally found some time to help out with some housework. Cleaned up my room, helped to clear and wash the dishes as well as the basin, take in the dry clothes and iron some clothes, wash my mummy's toilet etc. Phew!! Tired but satisfied! =)

Then Saturday came. Woke up rather late as well...and finally dragged myself out of the house to Far East Plaza for my IPL Face Rejuvenation treatement. Yeah~~then after that went for some grocery and necessity shopping before going down to Dar's place!!Dar promised to let me have steamboat for dinner while we were chatting on MSN the night before...so the moment I reached Dar's place...it was steamboat buying time!!hahax...

Had a uber full dinner...super haPpy! then Sunday came. Whole day was spent at Dar's place...eating again!!keke...we made us another "haPpy pot" from the remaining ingredients from last night's steamboat session! heex...sooooo nice!! Then back to sleep...and finally dinner at a Xin Hua Cze Char place with Dar's daddy before driving me home!

And it was raining cats and dogs out there in the morning today...and so even after opening my eyes at around 11am, Bella gave in to the nice weather and went back to sleep all the way til 1250pm before finally deciding to get out of bed. Had some exercising session just now to sweat out...Can't help it anymore...cos Bella is putting way toooooooo much weight recently! Sobx...somebody bring my fats away!!hahax...and now...after putting the rice to cook, cut the vegetables and brought out the fish to defrost...it's time for some surfing time! =p

Maybe I should go for some Jacuzzi session tomorrow. A pity I can't go for Sauna cos of the IPL I did on my face. It's down to one last day tomorrow before I've to step my other day into the peak. I must make full use of it!!hahax...Til more updates come...hope you guys are enjoying your week! *Smuacks*

(Part 3) "Nite of Champions"??

31st October 2008 was my company's Dinner and Dance. It was held at Ritz Carlton, Millenia once again. And this year's theme was "Nite of Champions"...thus my post title. =p

Given the theme, we were expected to dress up in sports/sporty wear. Most of us didn't have much intention to dress up initially, but with some emails circulation to boost the courage to get dressed up...ended up most of us did eventually turn up in something that is "somewhat" sportier then office wear...hahax...

And as per last year...we were stuck in the KTV room for uber long...Lolx and by 2am some of us were already drifting to Lala-land..hahax! Yogi Bear and me left at around 330am whilst the rest stayed till 4am before stepping out of the room. All in all...though tiring (given the fact that we had work during the day)...but it was still an enjoyable night! =)

(Part 2) Pasta Fiesta!!!

As promised in (Part 1), here's some continuation to (Part 2)!! and Ooooh yes...one of the very attractive thing that has been capturing my attention so much during the past 2 weeks is crazy pasta meals prepared by Dar Dar!!!

I'm starting to lurrvee Mondays with lunch boxes prepared by Dar! Heex...Other then having pasta, I get to have soba lunch box too!!heh heh...

It all started off with my request to have Dar cook creamy pasta for me on our 32nd month anniversary! But with loads and loads of other food obstructing us (*haha*) we had to push the pasta meal to sometime later. So then on one Sunday, Dar prepared the creamy mushroom and bacon pasta for me to bring to work on the next day for my lunch! Had it in office and the nice smell floated and flooded the office space that quite a few pple came to see what I was having! hahax...

Then the next Monday was Soba set! keke...had it at client's place...very nice!! *no pics taken...oops!*

And then came the white wine mushroom pasta! On a fateful Saturday, we went to the Supermarket and grabbed a bottle of white wine (picked by me of cos!hahax) and made ourselves dinner!!Yum Yum!!!And then came my request to have it for lunch on the coming Tuesday then...keke and I got it! =p

Last week...Dar learnt a new dish! It's Dar and my favourite pasta!!Garlic Prawn Pasta from Coffeeclub!!Can you believe it? I have to say I lurrvvve Dar's version more then Coffeeclub's. Cos it's onion-free (Bella don't really like onions) and it's less oily too! Even after eating one whole big big serving...I still wanted more! Just like how I told Dar...I'm gonna say it here..It's funny how I never seem to know the feeling of a full stomach whenever I'm eating Dar's pasta! Uber delicious!

I've yet to have the garlic prawn pasta in my newly bought lunch box so far!!*uh-hm* That's a hint to Dar i guess!!hahax...seriously how can I not grow fat with all the delicacies by Dar? But then again...Bella's not one who can resist good food! hahax...soooo "I m fat!"=p

(Part 1) HaPpy 33rd mOnth anniVersaRy!!!

Apologies to my beloved readers! I know I haven been updating this blog for like the longest ever time. But today...no matter how busy or how much other things I've to do...I must update this blog!!Other then taking this chance to wish Dar and me a very happy 33rd mOnth anniVersary...it time for dust clearing I guess...=p

To make up for the past few weeks' lack of updates...I shall post my updates in 3 parts! haha...
1) First part shall be my very haPpy day spent with Dar today to celebrate our 33rd month anniversary!
2) The Pasta Fiesta that I've been crazily indulged in for the past 2 weeks!
3) The "Nite of Champions" company DND on 31st October 2008

Alrights so here goes for part (1)...

Woke up this morning at around 11 plus and washed up. Rushed down to Braddell MRT Station first to meet up one of my friends to pass her some masks and her mascara that I helped to order for her. Then after that I made my way down to Orchard to meet Dar. We were suppose to meet 1pm at Orchard, but due to the heavy downpour, plus the fact that Dar is taking bus and alighting at Far East Plaza instead of taking train, he was late by 1hour. Not a good thing to let his beloved gf wait, especially on our "Dua Li Jit (i.e. "big day"), but after discounting the fact that poor him caught a cold due to him being caught in the rain while rushing over, and also given the delicious lunch he treat us both to at Crystal Jade...I forgive you Dar Dar!!hahax...

After a very heavy lunch, we started our Levi's search!!Yes...one of our main agenda today was to go to Levi's and buy ourselves Levi's jeans together!! In case some of you are still not aware, there's this "Old jeans for $50 trade in" promotion going on in Levi's store islandwide...and it's ending this Sunday. This was surely like the best time for me to get rid of my faded and tattered jeans for some nice and new ones! So I brought 2 jeans out today...and after trying 2 Levi's stores, we finally found something we like...heex! Dar's length was perfect...but not so for the shortie me...cos' I still have to get it altered! Sobx...-.- hahax but anyways a good SGD99.90 spent for each of us after the two $50 trade off from the two coincidentally same $149.50 price tags! Woohoo~><

We walked around after our buy...and finally went over to Centrepoint Cold storage to fine if there's the special Knorr Pesto so that Dar can cook me more delicious Garlic Prawn Pesta (stay tune for Part 2!). We dropped by Clinique to find Irene for awhile too. =) Too bad there's no Knorr Pesto around...guess we just have to go to the warehouse and buy it!

Then after coming out from Centrepoint, we took a bus down to Esplanade for our 33rd mOnth aNniversary dinner!! Upon reaching Esplanade area...since Dar was still not very hungry...we took a short rest beside the river and took some photos too!!heh heh!

So anyways...for our monthly anniversary dinner today...we went to one of our most loved monthly anniversary dinner spots - the Happy Pot stall at the Gluttons Bay next to Esplanade! But this time round...very much disappointed cos the standard drop by suppperly a lot!!! It's hard to believe how bad it has become. So for those of you whom I once recommend you to try out Happy Pot...you can forget about it now. Sad but true...this shall be the last time Dar and me will eat there again. Sooo it's bye bye time for Happy Pot from our monthly anniversary dinner spot list! Boo...haha...

Still...I had my full just that not satisfied. Dar was having a very bad flu by dinner time. *Sayang* So after dinner, we quickly took a bus and made our way home. And it's been such a long time I slept on Dar's shoulder on our ride home in the bus...I drift into my dream land soon after boarding the bus. Heex...when the bus was reaching Dar's house bus stop...I woke up and initially wanted to ask Dar to go home first...but he refused to and insisted to send me home! *haPpy*Finally alighted after a few stops...I totally enjoy walking home with Dar by my side and holding me hands. Not much stars...but in the nice cool weather...the somewhat long stretch of road that I always find a little too long seem too short tonight.

Back home at my door step...we sealed the night with a kiss and wishing each other "hApPy 33rd mOnth anniveRsary" once again. We're both happy today...and I'm looking forward to more monthly anniversary with Dar!! *hugss*
