Long awaited break!! - Day 12 and Day 13 (HK Trip Part III)

Day 4 of the trip was planned all suited to my family! It's been many years since Dad and Mum last visited Hong Kong, so we decided to dedicate the day to Macau!

We woke up early in the morning at around 8am to go over to the Dim Sum place where my parents used to go. Located just beside Prudential Hotel, we could find the place quite easily cos' I stayed at Prudential Hotel when i visited HK last year with the gals!

(Walking over from TST to Jordan for Dim Sum~)

(Here're the dim sums we ordered!)

Unfortunately, it seems like the dim sum standard has dropped @ this restaurant, so Dar and I decided to bring my family to the dim sum place we went earlier on during our trip! Cos' the food there is MUCH MUCH nicer!! *grinz*

Anyways, after breakfast, we headed over to the ferry terminal that is of walking distance from Jordan MTR.

(While walking, I told the backview of the 2 most important men of my life! - my Daddy and Dar!)

(As my Bro forgot to bring his Passport out, we waited @ the ferry terminal area shopping mall while he went back to take his passport~)

(My wear of the day~ Loves my new flats!)

    (In the ferry~)

(Here's a pic taken before we all snooze through out the ride~)

After an hour, we finally reached Macau! Apart from my parents, it's the first time that the rest of us stepped into the land of Macau.

(I actually find the scenary @ Macau quite refreshing and new~)

As my parents intend to spend some time in the casino while my bro and sister-in-law intend to go round Macau on a short tour about, we know we have to fill our tummies full first! so we settled at one of the eatery near the casino my parents wanna go to~ And gosh, they sell awesome portugese egg tarts! *craves*

    (Macau eatery!)

(The awesome food we ate! The pork chop bun and portugese egg tarts top the list!! --- another MUST TRY!)

After filling our tummies yet once again, we set off! As Dar and me have never set our foots in a casino in Macau before, we decided to tag along with my parents! Dar and me only spend some time walking around the casino and finally settling down to play some jackpot while waiting for my parents to finish playing~

(Some shots of the "new Pu Jing" casino)

(Pecktures of me with my Mummy and Daddy~)

(Pecktures taken @ the casino, before stepping in~)

By the time we walked out of the casino, it was going to rain soon, so we rushed over to take a bus to the ferry terminal to board the ferry back to Hong Kong. Since it was still raining when we arrived @ HK, we took a cab back to hotel to have our dinner at the restaurant in the hotel~

(In the restaurant - I love the plate!)

    (All 6 of us!)

(Expensive dishes which although we find nice, we still prefer the streetside stall!)

And since it was only around 9pm plus and it was just drizzling outside, we decided to just get out of hotel! We took a shuttle bus to Mongkok area to have our last spree buys around~

(And of course, more desserts! I also tried the birdnest and hashima in coconut!NICE!)

After walking around till around midnight, we gathered that it's time for us to head back to hotel to rest! Of course, we went back back to hotel with supper! I recommended the nice 大肠面线 to them! I wish I had some space left for that, but I was just too full~

(Left: Dar's supper - Minced meat rice bowl with Carlsberg)
(Right: Some of the cold noodles and this cup of cherries!)

    (My final buys!)

On Day 5 of the trip, as our flight is early afternoon @ 230pm, we had to leave after we check-out. Dar and I brought my family to the nice Dim Sum place which we went on Day 2 of our trip and fortunately, they love the food there very much too! *grinz*

    (I'm gonna miss HK)

(And here we are, in the cab to airport~)

Weather suddenly turned bad on our way to airport and though our flight was delayed by quite a couple of hours, and we all felt tired cos of the long journey back home, we were all happy to be back in Singapore still. I totally enjoyed my trip to Hong Kong this time round. Though there were some hiccups here and there, but I feel this trip has brought me closer to not just my family, but to Dar as well! *I love Dar and my Family!*

And to Hong Kong...I'll definitely be back!! (^^)
