"Gathering" weekend...

Friday was the deadline to hand most of my work for review, but that didn't stop me from meeting 2 of my secondary school dancers for a mini gathering nevertheless. This dinner had been planned quite some time ago, so I felt I really should try my best to attend it. I left client's place at around 8pm while April and Xiaoxuan were already waiting at Crystal Jade for seats. Had a hard time finding them but fortunately we did manage to get a seat. We chatted while we ate and subsequently decided to go to East Coast Park Macdonalds for some chatting session since Xiaoxuan's hubby was there for a meeting and April's hubby house was also around that area. We chatted till midnight before parting and Xiaoxuan and her hubby sent me back home safely! heex...

By the time I reached home, I was into my Korean drama "Stairway to Heaven" again. As usual I cried while watching the show. Sadly, my skin problem came halfway through my watching, and the itch was so unbearable that I had to take my medication (I always try not to take that medication coz the drowsy effect was just too strong for me. It always cause me to fall deep asleep for more then 12 hours.) and so I fell deep asleep at around 4am. I didn't turn on any alarm clock as I thought the latest I might sleep till would be until around noon time. To my surprise and shock, I woke up at only 330pm. I was suppose to be at Junney babe house for a Tea Party at 430pm. Anyway ended up the Tea Party started late and I got my Daddy to bring me to Junney's house (gosh...it's at Clementi area...wonder how I can ever find the place if I go by myself!lolx). Jillian and Huixian were also the honoured invited babes to the tea party. Really enjoyed ourselves and I must say it's really nice to sit down and relax together for some tea and chit chat. Oh and should I mention that the theme of the tea party was suppose to be Quirky : Blue. but ended up the themey thing didn't really work out but we were still happy that evening! But still, I really wanna thank Junney babe for the whole tea party! It's great babe! smuacks...

I had to leave early as I was suppose to meet baby Dar Dar and Roy for movies at Suntec at 810pm. Couldn't bear to leave them, so instead of my initial plan to take a bus there, I took a cab there instead so that I could stay with the babes slightly longer! Reached Suntec at around 8pm and we proceeded to watch "Ah Long Pte Ltd". Quite an entertaining show I must say, and boy my baby Dar Dar really laugh out loud during the show! keke...the show ended at around 10pm and Roy and us went back home together by bus.

Decided to stay over at Dar Dar's house so that I can get to accompany him longer while he watch his soccer match. I grew really sleepy at around 2am but Dar Dar's soccer match will only end at 3am. So I waited though he did ask me to go sleep first. Heex..Dar Dar's mummy came back home and she always smell and kiss Dar Dar's head whenever she's back. I really find it so sweet!Hahax...but then Dar Dar like no response one! ^Diaox^ hahax...

Sunday came and Dar Dar's mummy cooked a really sumptous brunch for us!!!We ate so heartily while Dar Dar's mummy went out for work. As usual there's always afternoon nap for us. We actually wanted to go out to Bishan to do some shopping right after our brunch but ended up we only went out at around 7pm. hahax...so anyway, I replenished my Tenseup Ex supply and got myself a huge tub of Berries yogurt and a little snack for my work tomorrow. I decided to take a cab back home myself so that Dar Dar wouldn't have to help me carry the heavy stuff back home and we can both reach home earlier to rest. But my mood for the day took a turn when I stepped into the cab! argh...the driver was actually travelling at 40km/hr!!!Can you believe it? Especially when the road is not even jam or something! I held my patience and tried not to focus on the speed by reading some Fancl booklets. But when I finish browsing the booklet and he was still travelling at that speed I requested him to drive faster. He did, by going to 60km/hr! My goodness! And that's not all. When he turned into my home area, with no cars in front, he was travelling at 20km/hr! My patience ran out when I asked him to turn right and he continued to head straight. This was the first time I got off from a cab even before it reached my destination coz I really couldn't stand it anymore!!! I paid, not wanting to even talk to him about any directions out at all, took my stuff and rather walk home with the heavy stuff!

Called to talk to Dar Dar right after I left the cab! As usual, fortunately I have Dar Dar to bear with my complains and I really did feel better after hanging up with Dar Dar. I reached home to do some self-grooming stuff again. Waxing (=p), trimming of eyebrow, manicure and facial. Oh not forgetting to continue with my Korean drama while doing my manicure! It's gonna be work day again tomorrow! Heard that the Manager might be coming down tomorrow or someday this week! Guess it's a long and late working day for tomorrow or perhaps for the whole entire week again! Pray hard for me guys...I so gonna need it this week! hahax...

Time reporting now...210am! I just reached home not long ago and finished bathing. As usual I'm making full use of the time while waiting for my hair to dry by blogging about my long day today!

Finally after several days of not being able to wake up on time to go work with my baby Dar Dar, I finally made it today!!Maybe it's coz I get to rest and turn in earlier the night before. Wouldn't be able to do so for tomorrow I guess, since I'm still awake now.

The day seem super long to me. Maybe it's coz I started earlier today and ended really late tonight...lolx! Anyway, my lunchie is still nice coz I get to meet Dar Dar for lunch. Brought him to eat handmade noodles. It was suppose to be a rather famous and nice stall with really nice hand-made noodles but unfortunately, their standard really dropped alot. I feel quite sad coz I didn't get to taste my delicious hand-made noodles that I had initially looked forward to. We rounded up our lunch with a nice cup of soya bean milk with grass jelly! So nice...heex...

We then took a walk and took some photos beside the Singapore River upon my request (so that I can get to see him in my phone whenever I miss him during the working hours =p). Dar Dar was suppose to have a meeting straight after lunch so he had to go back earlier today. We parted with a kiss and it was back to work for both of us! *Rahhhh*

I had expected a long day all along today coz tomorrow is the deadline for the first review of our audit. So staying back was like a must! Hmm, anyway it's also the big day for all the TOTO fans out there. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I bought some too. Excitement overwhelmed all my colleagues as the result was drawing near. I guess this kind of helped us feel less stressed up with work for a moment. Sad to say though, none of us won anything...hahax! But still feel happy for those who got to win something in this last day of CNY. Congrats to them!

Well, after all the excitement was over, it's time to get back to reality and start cracking our brains once again! As usual, whenever I feel stressed up with work, it's munching time for me! I downed like 2 cups of yogurt tonight. Heex...hey at least I stayed away from chocolates tonight! haha!

Around 1 plus am we finally decided to pack up and head for home. Really feel exhausted now and as for tomorrow, just like how I've been describing my "tomorrows", it's gonna be a long busy day once again! Especially coz when I wake up in a few hours time, I'll have to rush loads of stuff to meet the first deadline for me and my team-mates! Wish me the best! Goodnights...or rather Gooch Mornie!^zzz^

Yep if I can find a time to take a break for the week, I guess this is the day! The accountant who was suppose to be the main person helping us in the audit was not around today, hence many things couldn't be done.

And today I must thank my sweet Junney for the small little gift she prepared for mi. It was some cookies and a love note!!hahax...She prepared it for me in hope that it will help encourage me in my current job engagement! It's so sweet of her! Thanks Junney babe...I've read ur "love note" to me and it really perked me up! Oh and the cookies are delicious! yummy...

Hmm had lunchie with Grace this noon. It was a short lunch though, after which she went back to her office and I went to buy my conditioner before heading back to work. Hahax...and should I mention that with the triggering of my colleague, I took part in the crazy ToTo buying today! Lolx...Dickson, Desiree and me went to queue up to buy ToTo. I also help Dar Dar to buy a system 7 Quickpick! And oh my the queue was so long even during around 330pm. Do all of them not need to work (alright at least for the 3 of us it's like a tea break session)! So anyway, wish me and Dar Dar luck ba!lolx...

So happy I manage to go home together with Dar Dar today!wheee...coz me and my team members gathered that we're going to have a super long day tomorrow when the accountant is back so it would be nice and wise to take a break today! So I get to wait for Dar Dar to off work today instead and we took a bus home together. And guess what...I indulged in my sleep leaning on his shoulders once again!!hahax...

Tuesday Lunchie...

Yeah the main star of the day was my lunch! hahax...well can't expect much fun from work...especially not when I didn't manage to go to work with my Baby Dar Dar. Yesh...Bingo! I overslept, or rather I just couldn't get myself to wake up to leave for work even though baby called to wake me up.

Was suppose to meet Dar Dar for lunch today but my colleague told me at around 11 plus that we would most probably be having lunch with the client. Feel so bad for "abandoning" baby during lunch time! (But we did meet for dinner though...hehex)

We had lunch at a vegetarian restaurant near boat quay area. Wasn't expecting much from a vegetarian restaurant (coz I don't really like vegetarian food), but the food there kinda surprised all of us. I had my first "lao yu sheng" of the year today. It's also the first time i tried a vegetarian yu sheng. I must say it's really tasty and pleasant to the eye. It's even more refreshing then the usual ones I had and the color variety was also greater and stronger...I love it! keke...then I order the vegetarian Chicken Rice for my main course. Felt kinda farnie coz I just had Chicken Rice (as in real chicken rice) with Dar Dar yesterday during lunch but nevertheless I finished up the whole plate of chicken rice still. That restaurant that we went to really emphasizes a lot on healthy eating lifestyle. Even the chendol (dessert) was different in the sense that it replaced the coconut that is usually found in Chendol with oat milk. The taste is still nice and surprisingly the oat milk really did taste like coconut. For a minute I was bluffed, thinking that it was coconut until the lady boss came and properly introduce the dessert to us. Nice!

Yes as usual with no surprise, it was back to work after lunch. I really miss Dar Dar so much! And I sat in front of my laptop the minute I was back at the client place. Hardly had much spare time to even go to the ladies. I just wanted to finish the stuff I was doing today fast coz I still have loads of stuff waiting for me!! Had dinner with Dar Dar nearby and he went back home after having dinner with me while I went back to work. Me and my colleagues decided we should leave slightly earlier tonight coz we foresee a long day awaiting us tomorrow. So we left at around 10pm. Exhausted is the word for us I guess!

Gonna relax a little bit more before turning in! I really wanna be able to wake up on time to go work with Dar Dar tomorrow!!keeping fingers crossed =x! Hoping for a better day tomorrow! ^add oil^ heex...

start of a super busy week!

It's 1250am now and here I am using the time to update my blog while waiting for my hair to dry. Gosh! Today has been such a hectic day, I nearly fainted! Deadline for Manager's review is this coming friday and loads of work is still undone! Dar even helped me do some of the work during the last Sunday that just passed. Anyway here's some updates of the weekend we had.

On Saturday, Dar Dar and I went to Harbourfront to get my Prada phone repaired coz there was some problems. We went over to the Harbourfront hawker center where the shuttle buses to Sentosa is stationed. I didn't have much appetite so Dar Dar ordered his fried Hokkien Mee and his favourite oyster omelette. I dig into his food as usual! lolx...I must say the food for that stall is really nice! Though it was a little oily, the food is still delicious and too appealing to ever think of resisting it. Hahax...

We actually planned to go to SIM together to hand in Dar Dar's application form. Only to realise that the school closes at 2pm on Saturday. By the time we realise that it was already slightly past 2pm. =( To make use of our precious time together though, we didn't allow this to sadden our emotions but I suggested that we catch a movie instead. And we watched CJ7 shortly after we made that decision! heex...The movie was short and personally I feel it was a little overhyped. Nevertheless, it's still a nice movie to relax and chill.

Dar Dar and I then went to collect my Prada phone before we proceeded to take the train to our own individual destinations. Dar Dar had to go to his friend's house for BBQ at Seng Kang while I had to travel down to Orchard for my facial at Taka. Even through the short few stops from Habourfront to Dhoby Ghaut, I still fell asleep while leaning on Dar Dar's shoulders. It's just so easy to fall asleep with Dar Dar by my side. I lurrrvvve to sleep beside my Baby Dar Dar!!hahax...=p

I went back home after facial. Did my manicure as I watched my youtube shows (恶作剧2吻 and Stairway to Heaven). Dar Dar decided to stay over at his friend's house that night so I turned in earlier without waiting for him. Then Sunday was my working day. Started a little on Saturday but it's never ending. Dar Dar even came over to my house after he woke up from his sleep at around 3pm. Packed up my room a little for a small comfy working space for myself while I left my study table for Dar Dar to work comfortably too! Guess my baby must be so tired after all the work coz he fell so soundly asleep after he had dinner at my house. I couldn't bear to wake him up so I let him sleep a little longer while I carried on with my work. Did my work til around 2am in the morning! I could hardly wake up this morning and in the end I did not meet Dar Dar to go to work together! I just needed more sleep coz I know I'll definitely be working til real late tonight! But still we met for lunch and I totally enjoy lunch with Dar Dar! Hopefully I can manage to wake up on time to go work with Dar Dar tomorrow. Guys pray hard for me during this period...esp this one week! I might just collapse from all the workload I have in my hands now!!!ahhhh....

hApPy BirthdAy to Meeee!!!

It's my 23rd birthday today!! Before the arrival of today, I expected it to be another working day but of course with some additional spice coz I get to still celebrate with my Dar Dar. Dar Dar had to go for department lunch with his colleagues so I was still wondering if I'll have to spend lunch alone or something. In all I didn't expect any celebration during lunch. But guess what! It's all owing to my sweetie junney that I enjoyed my birthday lunch soooooo much!

Junney, Jillian and Timo and I had lunch together at China Square foodcourt. Sweetie Junney actually bought super nice cakes for us (thou end up we were too full to eat it after our lunch and I brought it all back...lol!). Though the cakes were not eaten, but we still lighted the candle and they all sang me a wonderful birthday song before we proceeded to buy our lunch. Timo was kana punished by Junne for some "personal attack matters"..lol..and a video of the birthday singing session was taken and mainly aimed towards Timo (Junney's planning to use it as a threat to Timo if he ill-treat her!) hahax...we then went for some chit chat session at the famous Mr. Teh Tarik at China Square area. Met many colleagues there as well. Junne kinda promote and announced my birthday to them hahax...and end up many people came to wish me Happy Birthday! All thanks to my sweet Missy Junne... keke...

Went back to client's place to work after lunch. Was doing some checking of stuff and was like holding back my need to go to the ladies coz I just wanted to finish checking the stuff on hand first. Until one of my team members started getting concerned as to why I still don't want to go washroom, I held back a little further and finally went to the ladies. When I got back to the meeting room, there I saw a small Hello Kitty (my most hated cartoon character though..lol) cake with a lighted candle sitting on the center of the table that was already so full of files. I was rather touched I must say coz I really didn't see this coming. Anyway, a birthday song was sung for me too (but too bad I failed to take a video of it coz I forgot to change my recording to external memory and it stopped halfway their singing..)!

I was rushing quite a little coz me and Dar Dar suppose to go to "Chun Dao He Pan"! I managed to get released by my nice Senior for the night at around 645pm. We proceeded to our destination immediately. And boy we were like hungry babies when we saw all the food that were presented before us along that whole stretch of food stalls!

We even stopped at a street artist for a portrait drawn for each of us at $30 for both (though ended up paid $50 coz of laminating...)! We kinda of regretted but Dar Dar consolated us both by saying that it's not a everyday thing so it's okie. We then walked around until we saw the cordoned streets that was in preparation for the short F1 race and Chingay parade. Baby loves F1 so we stopped there to wait for the F1 race. It was so crowded! And as for a shortie like me, I thank God I was wearing heels. At least it helped me to up my sight level slightly. hahax...we waited for quite awhile before the short F1 display started. But I must say the sound of the engine is really thunderous but exciting! I might just dream of it tonight. hahax...

After the race was over, we walked back to the food street to get ourselves a drink before sitting down at one of the benches beside the Singapore River. And there, I shared the cakes Junney bought for me and Dar Dar sang both the English and Chinese version Birthday Song for me!!!keke...Baby was still craving for the food sold there even after we down 2 slices of cakes. So he went to get himself some more food before we moved off and made our way back home.

I rushed back home to blow candles with my family. Universal Asset (the company me and Dar Dar hold some wine investment with) sent a chocolate cake to my house today. The choc cake really taste nice and I think my family loves it. But as for me, I think I ate a little too much cakes today so I only ate one mouthful of it and that was it. My brother miraculously bought me a birthday pressie this year (coz he usually don't) - a set of 5 lip glosses. He ask me to apply one colour for each working day and give different coloured kisses to my Dar Dar every day we go to work. Lolx...that's not a bad idea I must say! =p

Anyway, here I am giving thanks to the many blessings I received this birthday. Thanks to all the people who remembered my birthday today. I'm really touched coz I wasn't expecting so many wishes, but you guys made me feel so loved! And as for my baby Dar Dar, thanks to all that you have done for me and given me in this 2 consecutive days. I really enjoyed myself! Thanks for treating me like a princess (ur-hurm...don't forget the voice record I recorded though..-a princess everyday!hahax) and thanks for making me feel so loved by you once again! I prayed and wish in this birthday that we will continue to stay loving and understanding to each other's needs and feelings always and I wish you will help make my wish come true! I love you Baby Dar Dar! smuacks...=)

It's nearing the end of Valentine's day of 2008. Hope you guys enjoyed as much as I did.

Though this is the 3rd Valentine's day me and Dar Dar spend having each other in our lives, but we didn't really get to celebrate the occasion together properly for the last 2 times. So today is considered the first ever celebrated Valentine's day for us!

We started our day going to work together. As usual my alarm failed me but fortunately I have Dar Dar to call and wake me up. Just in time for me to have enough time to prepare and still be able to meet Dar Dar to go work together. We met up for lunch at a Japanese restaurant that he wanted to bring me to eat. He loves the sashimi there. But for most people who know me, I don't really enjoy raw food so I tried to order something without raw stuff. But for a more traditional Japanese restaurant like the one we went, most of the Bentos have raw stuff in it. So eventually I ordered something with Cod fish and stewed vegetables though sashimi was still included. Needless to say, sashimi all went to my Baby Dar Dar's side! hahax... Oh and did I mention that Dar Dar actually bought me a bear with blue roses! It's my first time receiving blue roses. Very special feeling for me. And this small pressie came off as a surprise to me coz I didn't expect Dar Dar to buy me any other gifts since the Prada phone was considered partly a Valentine's pressie too! Hahax...and maybe he still knows me well enough to know I love flowers =p

Anyway, I haven't been feeling very well today, especially after lunch, but knowing that I'll be spending the night out with Dar Dar I persuaded myself to pop a panadol down (though I must admit I seriously hate panadol coz it's so bitter and big...always stuck in my throat!). I left earlier then my other colleagues as I didn't want to keep Dar Dar waiting. So we met up, went to look at some men shirt which I wanted to buy for Dar Dar coz I know he will need it now that he's working. Hmm however, with my Dar Dar's fussy taste, he decided not to buy first as he didn't really like what he tried. Then, I suggested that we go to one of our lovey dining spots for Valentine's dinner. That place is at Beach road area and the eatery is call Creation. The queue is really long and we waited for slightly longer then half an hour before we were served to our seats. No regrets for waiting coz the food is really nice!!! Thumbs up! Besides, we both agree waiting with each other around is never really that torturing...heex...

We then ended our Valentine's date by taking bus home. Unlike normal times whereby we would sit through the long journey napping away with each other by our sides, there wasn't any seats for us just now. Furthermore, the bus driver was a real "exciting" one! We could hardly stand properly even when holding onto the poles and seat handles..lolx! Guess both of us must be feeling so exhausted after the exciting and straining bus ride!

And here I m now...resting my feets and blogging! In 15 mins more, it's gonna be my 23rd birthday! Still not very sure about the plans Dar Dar have for me tomorrow so shall wait for his instructions! hahax...will blog again about 15th Feb 2008, my another special day of 2008. haPpy miD week!

Hey guys how have your week been? I haven blogged for the week yet so here's some updates...

Have started working on my new job engagement at Republic Plaza. I'm happy coz I'm able to go work together with my baby Dar Dar every morning (except for this morning coz I overslept =( sad-ed hahax) and be able to hug and close my eyes for a rest during the train journey.

On Monday, me and Dar Dar met up with Grace (our common friend who's now working at Republic Plaza also) for lunch at a Korean eatery. I love their kimbab the most! Yummy...Grace left earlier coz she has got a more restraint lunch hour. As for mi and Dar Dar, we walked around and shopped around for awhile. After work Dar Dar accompany me to SGH to visit my Grandma who's hospitalised coz she fell down on the 2nd day of CNY. She just had her operation yesterday and is still currently resting in the hospital.

On Tuesday, me and Dar Dar met up with some of our secondary school mates (Amos and Patrick) who happen to be working at the same area too. Ate at a Japanese eatery and updated our status...keke! We talked about our past school days all the way to the future path. It's always nice to meet friends up once in a while for a little update...to always keep in touch! Anyway then me and Dar Dar went back home together after work by bus. It always feels great taking a nap while leaning onto Dar Dar. Even when the bus is rocky, I still love sleeping on his shoulder. His warmth is like the sleeping agent for me. Hahax...

As for today, I finally met up with my Junne babe for lunch! Miss her so much! hahax...Grace joined in too as she's still new to her workplace and haven really blended in with her colleagues. As usual Grace left earlier after eating while me and Junne went to a famous dessert store at the Arcade. We both ordered the super duper delicious Mango Sago there! Feel so satisfied after that! And oh did I say how much I missed my Dar Dar today coz I didn't get to see him in the morning coz I overslept and have to go to work without him. And then I didn't get to see him during lunch too...and with some overtime I was like hugging so tightly to him by the time I met up after work! We were suppose to go to "Chun Dao He Pan" together after work. But it has been re-scheduled to this friday (my Birthday!!!). We met up with Dar Dar's mummy and sis for dinner at Bishan Ajisen instead. Order so much food and boy we were all so bursted and full by the time we left the place! Here are some pics taken...

And not to forget, loads of work still awaits me! But knowing that tomorrow is Valentine's Day and that Friday will be my Birthday perks me up! Hahax...Oh and of coz knowing I can see Dar Dar every morning before I start my work is the best booster for the day! I love my Baby Dar Dar..=p
