Long weekend once again? =p

Alrights...some confession to make! If you've read my tagboard...u probably see my Dar starting once again to try to restrict me from drinking...Last Friday was my company's Off-peak part at Zouk and Bella ended up leaving the place so drunk she doesn't even remember how she left there or when and what happened after she knocked out! First attributing factor - Free-flow of drinks. Second attributing factor - More and more people streamed in and drank together. Third attributing factor - Bella admits she still have some frustrating family problems tangling her emotions and senses up. But for whatever reasons it may be...I'm all thankful for all my colleagues (I guess you know who you are better then I do...lolx) who took good care of me after I knocked out (though I must admit I'm still feeling really embarrassed now...I seriously dunno how to face my colleagues when I return to my office tomorrow! Heard of so many things that happened. Sobx...Embarrassed!). Praying hard some magical powers will help my colleagues forget everything about me on last Friday! But of all...I must thank my Dar for taking such great care of me after he went all the way down to Zouk to bring me back home. And of course his family who made sure I was feeling okie and looked after me cos' from information from Dar, I was crying very badly and confiding all my hidden problems when I woke up (but still drunk) from my concassion.

Anyways...when I woke up on Saturday morning, my stomach was feeling the damage that all the alcohol had done. Dar went out to buy me porridge...but I seriously wasn't having much appetite with the gastric juice and alcohol dancing around and banging my stomach walls. Then Dar's mummy suggested we go out for lunch and we reached Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe at Kovan area shortly. Ordered superly a lot of food..and the yummy food finally convinced my appetite-less palate to give way. After the sumptous lunch, Dar accompanied me home to put my stuff as well as drive the car out (cos' we have the car for the whole weekend cos' my whole family is not in Singapore...and don't ask me why I'm not with them! =( ). We took a cabbie home...but the idiot driver who was taking his own sweet time to drive us home in his rocky old cab, and plus the added fact that my churning stomach was not taking the food that I just ate well...I held myself back for the whole journey before rushing out of the cab once it stopped outside my house and ran in to puke! All of the yummy food I ate...there it was in the toilet bowl! Wasted...and I grew hungry!!Argh...

Dar was feeling sooooo tired from the late night from the previous night (cos' he took care of the drunken me and made sure I slept well) that he fell fast asleep after lying on my bed. So I waited for him to grab some beauty sleep before finally waking him up at 630pm cos' we needed to go supermarket buy some steamboat ingredients to go home eat steamboat dinner with his sister! Yippy...yup some hot spicy steamboat soup should revive my stomach to its health. We drove down to the supermarket at Hougang Point cos' the supermarket there is soooo much bigger. Bought our stuff and rushed back! It was near 8pm when we reached Dar's house and I'm soooo starving in my tummy. Washed and prepared all the ingredients in approx. 15-20 mins and it's digging in time! Felt so full after dinner...and then we drove back to my house (Dar gonna accompany me cos' no one in the house...so scary!) Oh...and I got to eat my favourite Canned peach!!Yum Yum!

We woke up on Sunday at around 11am (or rather I woke up at around 11am cos' Dar woke up at around 9am) and rushed out cos' I wanted to make a trip down to IKEA at Tampines to take a look at some new furnitures for my room and also take the catalogue. We had our brunch there...so full cos' we ordered 2 different rice sets and also their delicious chicken wings. And since Dar had to go home to prepare his stuff for his soccer match at 5pm that afternoon, we left at around 230pm. By then, Bella haven't recovered from her flu since the previous night. Wanted so much to go support Dar for his soccer match...but subsequently by the time I reached Dar's place...I was growing too weak and giddy. So Dar drove me back to my home first and settled me down before leaving for his match. While I rested at home...I couldn't get myself a good sleep cos' I was having nightmares. Woke up at around 8pm and waited for Dar to come home for dinner (cos' asked my maid to cook for us). Dar came back with his old knee cap injury back. Had his bath and poor him must be very hungry cos' he had 3.5 bowls of rice...and FYI his 0.5 bowl is equivalent to my 1 bowl. Lolx...Then after dinner Dar fell asleep till 2am before waking up cos' he needed to go to work today. I actually wanted to drive Dar back but he refused to let me...and so he took a cabbie home instead.

I didn't sleep well again last night...but nevertheless woke up this morning and cooked myself some instant porridge. By 220pm, Bella made a decision to head down to AMK Hub for a movie - Penelope. The show started at 305pm and being a 90mins show...ended at around 435pm. So satisfying to watch the movie with my popcorns and ice lemon tea!!And the show is rather entertaining too~

Next came my usual daily necessity shopping as well as some grocery shopping for my salad! Bought some baby butterhead as well as Japanese cucumbers and sushi for my salad. And because Bella's skin irritation around my lip around is getting worse (for those of you who met me recently you would probably notice it)...I decided to get myself some new face products since they running out anyway. Got myself some nice new nail color as well..gonna sit down and do up my nails later. Total damage for the day...around SGD80 for the once in a month personal relaxation just like I did last month. Oh and a new top bought today at my favourite online spree...Happy~~

Went out for steamboat buffet with the F4 and Ms Ong at Bugis' "Xian de lai"...I haven had steamboat buffet there for quite some time le. Totally lurrrveee the "La Zi Ji (i.e spicy chicken)" there plus the spicy soup base. Compared to "La Mei Zi", the ingredients at "Xian de lai" is much nicer and fresher. We kept ordering and ordering till the whole steamboat was so flooded with food! Lolx...Think we probably ate for 2 hours there...almost non-stop! hahax...end up when we left the place my stomach was soooooo big!!=p

Then we decided to proceed to my "Mei nan aka Ben" house for some booze and chilling session. We managed to cut down on our transport time since Roy and Gavin drove. We reached Ben's house not very long after and decided to get some mixers for the booze first. I spotted my favourite ice cream shop (Haato) there and gave in to my craving immediately. Green Tea and Milk Tea combination...not bad! heex...after buying the mixers, we then went back to Ben's house.

Interestingly, someone's car battery died right outside Ben's house and so asked the guys for help to lend him their car battery to help him start his engine. Being quite an idiot in these technical car stuff, I just stood by the side and learn..hahax! Just like how humans can communicate and how 2 computers can communicate...so can the cars!!Anyway, the man's car revived within a couple of minutes and the "show" ended! keke...we then went back into the house.

While we warmed up a little at Ben's living room, we subsequently proceeded to his top floor for some pool games. I'm no good at it...but I still enjoyed myself there in the room with the never-ending entertainment by the guys and Ms Ong. It's so much better staying in that room with these guys then squeezing myself through all the smoke and sweaty bodies in the clubs and pubs on a Wednesday night (or rather ladies night). And the night ended at around 2am I guess...not drunk but chilled and relaxed! For those of us who had to go to work in a few hours time...we hated the fact we had to go to work...while those who didn't have to go to work presented their smug face!!Rahhh...well anyway Gavin then drove all of us home...*Thanks Gavin*

I reached home...tired but happy the night went by nice and comfortable...but only to find out that I've lost my keys (very important cos' it's got a very important key chain Dar bought for me when he went for his overseas training during his NS days...and that was like when we got together not very long after...he has one too! and of cos' my office locker key was also attached!) and so I spent the whole night finding for my keys! Good news is I finally found it at around 4am...in a rubbish chute!Arghh (don't ask me how it ended in there...I'm just glad I found it)...Bad news I became a walking zombie with panda eyes today!=p Oh well...nothing beats finding something you've lost or you thought you've lost!

*Cherish every single thing/person you have by your side now...some are lucky cos' they find them back after a short separation...but for some...it's gone forever!* Smuacks...^^

Mid week mini shopping!

Today is my off day again..as well as tomorrow!!hahax...don't envy me...cos' I earned these hours when you guys are probably sleeping at home! hahax...

Anyway, I've been arrowed to represent my department to plan some event with the other audit group reps. So, I'm asked to handle some tee-shirt printing stuff. Just surfing the internet seem like too slow for deadline set, so I decided to make a trip to queensway to search for some deals. And since my beloved ah-Ong (i.e. irene) wanted to get herself some running equipment, we went to Queensway S.C together this afternoon. While I didn't get the eventual deal closed in Queensway (cos' we managed to find some other supplier with a contact given by the event "head"), Miss Ong bought quite a lot of stuff! hahax...she's the shopping queen! =p

We then took a cab and headed to Orchard cos' she needed to get some stuff from her friends. Wanted to refill my nail accessories but didn't find anything I like. Then we walked over to Paragon cos' I wanted to buy some lingerie..heex...and so there we are in La Senza! Stucked there for around 1 hour plus I think...cos' the deal is really quite good! hahax...2 bras and 2 thongs (=p) for only SGD67.50!! Well but that's cos' we bought together and managed to get a better deal that was in their "Buy 2 get 2 free" promotion for the bras now. Like what Irene say...this is the best thing about us ladies shopping together! hahax...hmm wanted to share some pics of the designs I bought but think I better not do so or else the male readers might bleed while reading my post after seeing the pics of the models...hahax...but I bought 1 Weightless Strapless Convertible bra and 1 Itec Hybrid Push Up bra. Both are recommended by Miss Bella cos' they're really quite comfy...esp the Itec one!!heex...

Then after the long lingerie craze, we finally decided to grab some food! Irene initially wanted to have some seafood buffet...but cos' I wasn't really feeling very hungry...Irene went to Tangs basement with me to buy my Crispy Chicken (Ji Pa) cos' I super long never eat the Ji Pa from there le! Then we walked over to Scotts for her Mosburger meal. Heex...finally a time to sit down and rest our feets while having some of our ladies chat! She's another babe in my list whom I can talk anything under the sun...well but that should come as no surprise after we both suddenly realise 10 years have passed since we first got to know each other! keke...but more years will be awaiting for us I believe! Heex...^^

After the meal, we then parted cos' she's meeting some of her friends while I decided to go over to find Dar for a while. But anyways...our next meeting will not be too long...cos' it's tomorrow evening!! Guess she never eat her buffet she will not be satisfied...cos' we'll be going for a steamboat buffet tomorrow at Bugis with Dar and Mr. Roy! hahax...so till then (I shall try to snap more pics tomorrow cos' today me and Ms Ong only keep chit chatting and forgot to take photos!!Arghhh...), I shall go have some rest and play more games! hahax...*game addict on the go!*=p nights my beloveds...smuacks(^*^)

Saturday Food Fiesta

Heex...continuing from my last post...Bella failed to visit the gym yesterday (Friday)...shall try harder =p!!and anyway my nails are nicely done once again after a super long break! keke...nice?

As for today...Phew woke up on time this morning (despite my taking of medication for my skin itch which like I mentioned before...can cause mi to feel really drowsy for more then 12 hours!) when my Daddy shouted from outside my bedroom door and ask me if I wanted to go out so that he can give me a ride out. As tired and drowsy as I could ever felt, I still forced myself up cos' I don't want to have to walk out to the bus-stop that's all so far away from my house under the hot sun. Anyway, it was already 10am plus when Daddy woke me up...Dar and me agreed to meet at 11am. So up I was from my bed and dressed myself up.

Reached Dar's house and waited for him before we headed out to SIM university first to get his school registration fees settled. Then...here's the moment I've been waiting for all week! We went to eat my beloved Zhi Bao Ji (Paper wrapped chicken) that I mentioned in my blog before but didn't show much pics! Only the two of us...we ordered 18 packs of Zhi bao ji plus a 2 person serving Fried rice, downed with a big pot of Chinese tea, totally to around SGD28...Perfect!!! Each of us ate 9 packs of zhi bao ji...so delicious! I simply lurrveee it so much...heex!

Then after our rather heavy brunch, we proceeded to Queensway shopping centre cos' Dar needed to get some of his soccer stuff as well as get his team's jerseys deposit that he paid sometime ago but later fail to receive his jerseys due to cancelled shipment. Anyway there at Queensway...Bella bought a cuppa of Honey Milk Bubble Tea...but it was sooooo sweet! Humph...but nevertheless I finished all the pearls! Hahax...then Dar's friend came and joined us cos' he wanted to buy some stuff too! After much walking, we finally settled down for some drinks. Dar and his fren had the Katong Laksa there whereas I had only some Teh Limau (cos' the pearls in my stomach is still making me feel full).

After the foot rest, Dar accompanied me to IKEA cos' I wanted to get myself a new bed as the one I had at home is giving me some back problems. Saw a couple that I like...but still in the process of considering. Shall think through and go back soon...heex!

Decided to go back home after leaving IKEA so we took bus 100, but only to realised that the ride is gonna take too long. So we alighted at Harbourfront to switch to train. And since we're already at Harbourfront, Dar suggested we stop by the hawker centre opposite Harborfront to have the famous Oyster Omelette and Fried Prawn noodles there...and as usual the foody mouth of mine would always gladly accept the idea! hahax...so we went and ordered the food...and of course in the uber duper hot weather today...we topped the food list with some sugarcane juice! I personally felt the standard of the oyster omelette and fried prawn noodles dropped as compared to the last time we visited the stall. But still...Dar finished up all the food! =p

Took train home after our meal...super full! We agreed that we probably can skip dinner tonight. Reached home in quite a short time...had a bath and watched some television programme. Then suddenly my mouth got itchy cravings again! hahax...some Japanese seaweed nuts and soya dumplings seemed like the right stuff to satisfy my cravings...so I went down and bought them!!heex...finally...some hot and chewy soya dumplings for me!Yeah~~

And here I am now...with my Japanese seaweed nuts (something that Bella's been superly addicted to recently...been having it everyday these days...and it even cost me a visit to the dentist yesterday evening cos' part of my tooth filling came off due to the nuts=p)...blogging as I eat the nuts non-stop...somebody help me from this crazy nut addiction! hahax...tonight staying over at Dar's home so I can sleep with the nicey comforter that Dar's mummy prepared for me! heh heh...hmm gonna have supper Dar prepared for us and sleepz! Promoting eating and sleeping lifestyle!!hahax...=)
